Made quite a few contacts on 17 meters and 12 meters. Today made contact with Japan on 12 meters.

I'm a big fan of 30m WSPR. I recently tried it out and am not waiting on a kit so I can run it all the time from a dedicated 200mw transmitter.
I'm also a big fan of these bands because of the lack of contest, and 30m in particular because of the lack of phone, it really weeds out of the idiots. 17m is also nice for typically more quiet conditions than 20m and is usually open at the same time as 20. I've never tried 12m, which along with 60m and 160m are the bands I've never made a contact on. Hopefully some of the countries in North America will be adding the new WARC-12 600m MW band soon, which will be an interesting band to play around with once it's allowed for all.

+sandman x 600meters (some call it 630meters more correctly I guess) sounds exciting. I'm always on DXmaps checking for activity on the various bands and when I see long QSO's with that band I get curious
