Hi David, Do you have any tips on cable suggestions, set up tips regarding your set up, I am looking at purchasing the same set up, It's between Ls60w active set up or a hegel 190V & r3 metas, any help would be great. Passive or active!!!
KEF R series is absolutely synthetic sounding speakers. The only two things to like about them are 3d soundstage and design. Suitable for HT, though. And yes, I was KEF Reference line owner for some time to make such judgment. If you are looking for natural sounding speakers, look elsewhere, ATC, PMC, even ProAc
I was listening to your review on the r11 metas and this one simultaneously and I really don't hear a big difference between the two. Especially twice the price difference. Is there a difference between the two listening to them in person?
