- Got out for my first Wildcamp since my operation. Feeling good and nice to seen the spring plants emerging after Winters long sleep.
Cooked some food up on the Folding firebox and had a great Camp:)
Great music. Great dog. Every kid needs one dog like that in their lifetime. No preaching. Every spoken word was well thought-out & presented to teach & not just to hear yourself talk. Sorry about your physical condition, my prayer to the Great Physician for your healing. Great video on your concept of the individual camp. Well done. Did not waste my time. ThxU! Keep Marching. Thanks for another high quality video. Have the same problem with my right hand with no loss of function. Will put off the operation until one of my fingers curl. Just small bumps in my palm and I am using my other hand more than I used to. Love your dog.

Good to see you out there again, Sandy. I just took the first camping trip of the year a couple of days ago, and I'm finding out that I just don't like the cold very much anymore. However, this makes me think I'll be taking the lavvu out with me when I go out again next week.
Haven't used it in awhile, and after all, you are the reason I bought it in the first place, eh? Look forward to more of the Sunday Shack videos, too. Take care and give Elsa a treat for me. 73!

Thanks for posting Sandy. It made me laugh to see old Elsa slowly walk through the gate while you patiently waited for her! What a sweet nature she has, our cat Tabby is 14 years old now.
Sorry to hear you had to have a hand operation, I hope it gives you full usage of your hand once it has completely healed.
As you mentioned although it is springtime now it still can be pretty cold at night. The woodpecker sound heard in the morning as you exited the Lavvu was great.

Very nice to see you out there Sandy. Your (very skilled) hand looks like it is well on the way to a complete recovery. There is no better way to a complete healing and recovery than to put the hand to use out there in the little spot on earth (your camp) that connects you to nature for the moment in time. That little dog companion that you have out there touches the heart every time I see her out there with you. Elsie is a treasure for sure. It is good to see your hand starting to heal, and you can get back to the things you like to do. there is a much better reflector for your lantern it is 2 piece highly polished metal about 10 ct. across and and drops on top I works very well. Thank you for another great video.

Good to see the green grass and the green leaves again! I'm jealous. Good rehab for the soul and probably helpful to get some use in the had as well.
I had the same surgery about 15 years ago. As I recall it healed pretty quickly and my hand soon was back to normal No worries - all will be well, I'm sure.

Ouch! Sorry about the hand, a gent who just passed away a couple months ago, longtime friend Tim, WBØTUB/sk had to have the same operation, ended up losing a finger to it some years ago. Another great video, thanks.

I've been camping too the past weekends, with my hooped bivibag. And last weekend I actually found the time to stay out for 2 nights, at a local lake ( much easier on a lake because I dont have to bring water with me )
