@@tsetstransport I thought the NSW state government was planning on replacing them from 2027 onwards. but how long will the Tangara trains last for. With the replacements due from then . Also it’s great the upgrade is still going ahead
Hi Elliot 👋 this is absolutely amazing. You did the voice over perfectly with easily understood narration at a very suitable level for those with hearing problems. You can be very proud of this presentation but you have set a high standard for yourself in the future. Well done Elliot 👍 👏
Random question, as a young train spotter, how do you get permission to do all of these exclusive things? Such as riding the mptv and guarding the train, even getting to visit here?
If you have a PS4, one game that you’ll love is called “Train Sim World”, in this game you can drive trains from Germany, Britain and USA, featuring full detail locomotives such as the F40PH-2CAT, Bombardier Talent 2 EMU and the very famous Bristish InterCity 125 HST train which looks very very similar to the Australian XPT, trains in this game function exactly like their real life counterparts
oh also when the f set was at central as a santa train, I got to take a look in the cab as well and the driver explained to me how to drive that train and all the controls.
Hope you enjoy this one! Lots of planning went into this! 😉
Quick question is the full upgrade of the Tangara fleet still going ahead aka them with pods
@@AussieTrainsVlogs PIDs are part of the next stage of the upgrade which would be implemented around 2025-2030

when do u think the stage 2 ones with the pids will enter service
You should see if u can get a tour of the maintenance facility at kang angy for the new intercity fleet on the central coast.
Hopefully. That does sound fun, I’ll have a look into it. 😊
Good video
Are you allowed to go in to the maintenance centres whenever?
3:49 yk people could still pause the video at the right time and get a good screenshot
