The outdoor concrete(or terrazzo) bathtub, the bathroom, the indoor-outdoor flow, those pivot doors opening to the outdoors! This home is just phenomenal, and the architecture and especially the interior design is just perfect. Amazing shoot Hunting For George!
Loved everything about this home! Especially the indoor/outdoor relationship with the kitchen and living room to the garden/pool. Loved loved loved the glass doors!
Yeah, no matter how high those walls are, I don't think I'd feel totally safe there. The doors may look nice but just how safe are they???? Looks like just ONE ram into those doors and it will burst open 😢 Shame cos everything else looks beautiful! 😢😢💔💔🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi there! Khat here - My husband and I own Ola House and we haven't rammed ourselves into our doors quite yet in the 7 years since we built it. Feel safe to me :)
It is a lovely home BUT you'd need an army of frogs to keep out the mozzies. (I live in the tropics and there is absolutely no way I could have all the windows open like that.)
Sadly, living in Darwin, once twilight hits so do the bugs. Also as soon as there’s food in the kitchen, there’s flies. But luckily with this design, you can pivot close the doors and turn on the aircons😊. Which seems to be the only cooling system, because there isn’t a ceiling fan in sight to circulate the air around.

The house is wonderful.
How much does it cost?
It isn't for sale; it is a home tour. My guess will be wrong; my guess is $350K U.S. dollars.
I think segregating the toilet was the best part, provided it has its own washbasin.
It is a lovely home BUT you'd need an army of frogs to keep out the mozzies. (I live in the tropics and there is absolutely no way I could have all the windows open like that.)
Actually, we do keep a standing army of frogs. They hop into action whenever needed.

Mozzies are worse in Australia than in Bali!
@@JohnnyJamestown We have an army of geckos 😁
are four frogs enough?
You are nice
that is not rattan... that's abaca twine/rope
I find these kind of houses a bit showy and superficial.
Cant own it just rent it until dead.. or 30 years when you renegoiate lease...
