God bless all those holy men and women who live monastic lives in the name of Christ.

I saw they use a big recipient for the blood of Christ? Is strange ..not a normal cup . Anyway is great video.

This life must be so difficult for someone who loses their sight and cannot read any more….as is the case with the elderly monk in this video.

very nice history but spirtually it is all over. a new time of the divine doesn´t need religions, monastries, holy books.

The Divine is eternal and will never be over. God is forever because He is outside Time, which He Himself created.

@@isabelwood1671 isabel ! in westphalia we are saxons. 1200 years back west germanic franconians( charlesmagne), already christians conquered saxonia after 30 years of war. though my wonderful traditional upbringing was very catholic, left it all. I found bharat, precisely sri aurobindo. my mind was widely opend for huge ranges of thinking, of consciousness. after many thousand years of vedanta, illusionism, later buddhism in the east, aurobindo discovered the total reality of matter, life, planet earth. the oneness of spirit and matter. the divine is fully present in evolution. so in yoga ( german : joch; indogermanic connections of race, languages, psychology) one learns to think dynamic, vibrant. out of the motionless, still, inert brahman the universe emerges. the processes in time and space - physics, chemistry, biology, life, humans - again beginn. and everybody has his own approach. I am very german, nationalist, even involved in politics. in the AfD we are against EUnuches, euro, islam, migration, nato-wars, covid-narratives, globalism, high finance. so-- a new era will come anyway. aurobindo speaks of overmind, supermind, a new race.
my life experience: yoga ideas and german-prussian disciplin nicely fit together. in recent years I became much interested in research of ancient germanic-celtic pasts.
all the best from münsterland wolfgang
