Driving 30 minutes down the road should be simple, but when you're driving a 45-foot bus that hasn't been moved in over a year, it's a little complicated. It had us asking questions like, "How did the bus sink so much just by sitting?"
On the way here from Oregon, we did not, but we were not exploring the countryside. We stayed at rest stops and dipped into truckstops only. We do have a Rand McNalley GPS for big trucks on our Amazon Wishlist for our next journey though!
@magnoliathebus in the interim until you get that GPS I'd like to recommend Trucker Path in the Google Play store. There is a subscription price unfortunately, but it's what I use to drive those big roll-off trucks in downtown Cincinnati. It does pretty good, but the routing gets a bit wonky the closer to your destination for some reason. 😅

So nice to see it moving! What a beautiful day for the drive too! Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished!
Thanks Mike. That is really nice to hear, and so validating. Got me a little choked up, actually ❤
Yay you got her moving 😊 I was looking forward to this video all week ! I hope Patrick will be feeling better soon !
@@offgridsolarpower thank you! He's feeling better and can't wait to get this root canal behind him.
Happy to see her moving. Great job.
@chadb5039 thanks! We're pretty happy about it too!
Cheap kitty litter great for getting unstuck.
@@milesoroads good to know!
Do you use a specialized GPS geared towards big rigs on your travels, or do you just hope for the best so far as clearances and routes go?
