Ningbo is a very wealthy city, with a per capita GDP of more than 30,000 US dollars, which is equivalent to Italy, with a permanent population of 10 million. There are also oil cities in China that are even richer. The per capita GDP exceeded 30,000 US dollars 10 years ago. I can only say that The outside world doesn’t understand China at all.😅

Awesome! Just curious… where you coming from and what will you be doing? With regards to tips I would say: make sure you have a VPN ready to go if you want access to western internet. I think you will find people here friendly and accommodating but don’t expect to be able to communicate with people directly in English. Also I recommend doing some research on useful Chinese apps like WeChat. That would be useful to have when you’re here

其實寧波人都知道寧波有多好，面對上海也不會有劣等感（事實上一部分上海人的祖先是寧波人，寧波人創造了近代上海，甚至近代香港的部分歷史）。只是她不如上海那樣在國際上有名（但就像您一樣，有許多外國人居住在寧波）。
