Unreal, I thought it would be a few weeks or atleast a full week before people were speed running the game, I randomly searched for speedruns for the remake fully expected not to find anything and stumbled upon this amazing vid. This is a great guide for me to use for practicing routing in the town and hospital. Superb work.
I keep searching for silent hill 2 remake speedrun for this 2 days. But I didn't expect much since the game just released. Well, this one video really break my thoughts. Congratulations man for the run🎉
I beat it Tuesday night since I was able to do most of it during the 48 hour early access. Took me 21 hours. Jumped into NG+ and now I’m back at Woodside Apartments again. Good speed run though!
Very nice run congrats🙌👌. So is the design and the paths, the same as the original and HD remaster, to achieve this, or did they change the path Designs? Seems like it's the exact same with this fast run. The video cut off at the end. Isn't the ending of going in that long hallway and all the way upstairs?
it actually has the same pathing and feel of level design, personally i think they were very peculiar with speedrunning this game 😅 and just half a run thats why i put 1/2 just to show the progress
@enzn1 Oh ok my bad. Didn't see it was a 1/2 part video of it😆😅. Are you gonna put the other half? I was looking for this type of guide but when I searched for it on youtube, I only saw videos of the speedrun of the original and not the remake, so I want to make sure I do it correctly. Should be fast enough to do it in a few hours total, and with constant manual saves, so don't have to do it again.

Insane considering not that many people wanna speedrun this game. The game is a pain in the ass.
im surprised the game runs this good for you. i've got a pretty high end pc and the game stutters and lags periodically
