I found I had to make it longer than what was shown. Added another 15cm to the total length for it to give a nicer fit. Thank you for sharing your pattern.
When we start the first row, we make a double crochet into the second chain, so the previous chain act as a single crochet. That's what you can do. When you have your chains, mark with a stitch marker your first chain from the hook and then, go into the second chain and make a double crochet like I showed in the video. That chain when we start and the one, we made when we turn our work it's our single crochet, and it's not easy to see. I hope I have been of help to you.
hi, i'm having the same problem two people have commented. at the end of my second row (the one that starts here 3:44) i have one stitch left and i don't know what to do since i'm following the same steps as you 🤔 what can i do? should i just finish with a single crochet?
The pattern, from the second round on, starts always with a chain that represents a single crochet and finishes every round with a single crochet. I hope it helps.
Having a bit of confusion, newbie here. When i get to the end of the 2nd row you show, i dont have the rifht number of stitches to skip one and so a single crochet into the last one. Things worked out of the first row so Im perplexed.

I have 24 stitches, however after first stitch, then I started on my third stitch, at the end there is one stitch left. Because I started at third stitch, please tell me what is wrong? Thanks!
@bennafung9965 Very peculiar. I think you did everything well, I tried, and this happened to me as well, but the pattern of the grit stitch is a multiple of 2 plus 1, so I really can't say. I also tried with 25 chains, and the count came out right. You may want to try with 25 as well. I hope I have helped you 😊
Thank you for sharing. You explain so well and give the measurements, I like that. It really helps 😊
You are very welcome 😊

I love this scarf and will be making one soon with the same yarn. Did you use one skein?
Thank you very much. I used 2.45oz/69gr of yarn. One skein is 5oz/142gr, so I think you can make 2 of the same size I showed in the video 😊
@@crochetcabin6160 thank you so much for your quick reply. I’ll be heading to the store soon. ❤️

i understand! thank you!!
Hi. It’s 31” so if I wanted to adapt this for a fur baby with a 23” neck, what size would you recommend I do?
Hello @ruthbriddon7941. For the length of the scarf, I would try it on while working.
Thank you ❤❤❤

Is there a written pattern for this scarf?
I am sorry. I do not have a written pattern. 😊
