Glad i found your channel, i am ex British Army , just bought a 2017 citroen relay, am about to start the conversion, mainly i thought it would do my mental health good to have the freedom to escape the madness at weekends , no doubt i will say hello one day at a meet , your work looks amazing
Great video! So helpful! Thank you for putting it together. I am hoping this is the year I can build a van and will for sure be making contact with your team for help.
Hi. You mention that you don't use tongue and groove as it can open up, which is exactly what has happened every time I have used it. You say you cut a groove in ply. Have you got a video of how you do this and what bit you use? Thanks!
Do you think you can make a video explaining the solar panel system and how to chose the different components or the overall electricity, the different parts. I find it is the hardest to find all the info if I do it myself (which I plan to next spring). Like for example the system which can also charge while driving, and perhaps also if you're somewhere and can be directly plugged. How this switch can happen. (Don't have the best words im fluent in french) Would really appreciate it if you could shed some light on it in your future builds. Thans so much
Hi lad, couple of Q's how long is your straight edge, 1.8m?. I was going to get one for my kitchen build but used the hawkeye method. I guess the longest is best for router groves in ply for roof instead of tongue & groove. Also what's you user view on ryobi power tools especially the circular saw? Do you use a bench saw at all, I'm looking to get a evolution but I'm unsure I will need it on top of a sliding mitre saw, a router and sticky back plastic. Cheers oly
Thanks so much for the very helpful video! I just wondered if you had any tips for stripping rubber cables? I know you used the Klein stripper but I'm not sure that would work for us as our rubber cable is 10mm (with a 2.5mm cable inside). So we need to work out how we can strip the rubber outer layer before we stripping the 2.5mm cable with our normal strippers. Thanks so much!
You’ve given me an idea Oly, would it be possible to actually use B&Q units instead of building your own? Not sure I have the skills to build them from scratch 😔

Yes definitely! You may just need to scribe them against the wall as nothing is straight in a van but it would give you a great start!
