Ben is the man. I hope Steelers fans appreciate him while he’s still here. We’ve been EXTREMELY lucky to have a future Hall of Fame QB for almost two decades. And for the ones who remember what the QB situation was like in the 90s (when we had GREAT teams but couldn’t get over the hump cuz of average QB play) we should give thanks to this guy. True, he was never perfect but he worked on all his faults and became a true leader. Hopefully whoever takes over for him down the road will be able to extend the Steelers legacy of greatness.
I wonder if they are basing that off of the fact that Terry has won 4 Superbowls for the Steelers. I bet if Ben had the same amount of Superbowl wins, he'd easily be number 1.

Coming from a Baltimore Colts season ticket holder back in the day and a Baltimore Ravens fan, Ben made the games better.....much respect to him and the Steelers as our teams and organizations are so much alike......
I have been a huge Big Ben fan for about 7 years. I have no connections to Pittsburgh, but I saw a Steelers game on TV and was so impressed with Ben and his receivers at the time and I became a die-hard fan follower since. My husband doesn't watch football anymore and he's just amazed at my loyalty and fun watching or listening to all games. They did great this year!
Ben is one of the GREATS !! Only he knows his capabilities, always been a fan & Pittsburgh being my old home town has always had great sports teams. Best wishes for what ever he decides.

and if the Steelers had a running game, our team relied too much on Ben and the defense. Ben and the short passing game was soon figured out by opponents and then the defensive injuries also took their toll. Another lost year for all of us Steeler faithful.
