Marked Man is a fun mission to do if you already have a Rhino (by stealing one from the military with six wanted stars then taking it to the Portland docks so you can get one anytime you want) or by using a bulletproof Cheetah that you get by stealing one in the Turismo side mission by deflecting your opponents into your Portland safehouse with a Coach. I did it both ways. With either the Rhino or the bulletproof Cheetah, just drive over the Shoreside Vale Lift bridge as normal. The CIA will fire their M60s at you, with no effect whatsoever! Easy peasy.
There’s a glitch in the PS2 copy of this game. If you finish “Rumble”, the last Red Jacks mission, then you’ll never be able to re-play any more of D-Ice’s missions, nor play them on a new save game. You can re-play the first mission again, but you can’t pass it because the Nines disappear and can’t be killed, causing you to automatically fail the mission. So if you play “Rumble”, don’t save the game afterwards and turn it off without saving so the glitch can’t happen. It sucks, but Rockstar shit the bed on this.
I have several theories on this video’s missions. If Ray was targeted by the CIA, what are the odds that Phil was also? This really sucks if you ask me. You could be right that the CIA targeted Ray and Phil because of their part in the covert ops. Also the Leones are allied with the Jacks, or the Hoods per se, because the Hoods helped them decimate the Forellis. Toni himself may have been D-Ice’s contact in the events of Salvatore’s death. Also what are the odds that the Hoods and Nines are actually former Ballas and Grove Street Families members who’ve left Los Santos after Sweet’s arrest and Smoke’s death months later?
