You're amazing! I'd love to listen to Hokage, Hana, Saodake Uri, Iwai, Tokiwa and Kaleidoscope in their entirety. Especially compound-meter Hokage. The little bit I could hear was splendid! If everything goes according to plan, I'm moving to Canada in a few years, likely to Toronto. I've played taiko and fue/shinobue for 11 years now. Naturally I'm looking forward to joining a local group once I'm there. This is actually how I came across this video. Do you accept applications? Also is there such a thing as kentei shiken / certification exam in Canada? Is there a country-wide organization that evaluates taiko performers? If so, do groups seek higher level certificates? Sorry if this is a dumb question--I'm clueless as to how taiko works over there.
