Some time could you talk about your picking technique with the pic and with your fingers. I’m not thinking so much of the choice of notes but in the hand and finger positioning that can aid in speed and accuracy. I love your channel and music!
Love the music you play. Early rock and roll has such wonderful borrowings from jazz, blues and rhythm and blues music. And... SLAP THAT BASS DADDYO!!!
Love the video. Really enjoyed it. 👏. I have a question. Can you play blues, rock as a Solo Musician on a Cruise Ship? I’m a solo musician who plays with tracks and mostly the Tourists circuit (all the hits, classics etc) but I do one gig a week where I get to play blues & rock etc and it’s my favourite gig of the week (as they are my favourite genres) and I was wondering if that’s possible to do on a cruise ship? I haven’t been on a cruise ship so I don’t know if there would be a demand for that type of gig?
Hi, I think it depends greatly on the cruise line, their concepts and also the persons who book the artists. Almost any kind of work could work, I think
Great thing! You 2 sound great together! I've play on cruise ships in the early 80s and i can tell you it was a hell of a job. Low payment, 9 hours of playing every day and never had such a comfortable room like you, so enjoy the journey. Keep on rocking 👍
Great video, Randy! I really enjoyed it. I would love to see more videos like this in the future. Keep up the great work, and thank you for sharing your trip with us! :)
nice to find you here Randy! Great content and you are a great guitarist and i love your style. I found this video searching about cruiseships. I worked for celebrity cruises and I want to come back to cruises again! I'm followig you on instagram now :)
One trip lasted 7 days, then the next people came on board. We played 5 sets in 7 days and had different programs prepared. Some people watched all five shows, but others just one or two. So it worked out really good
If you have any questions regarding the ship, our music or the trip itself, just write a comment. We try to answer them in the second video next week

Do you still remember the cabin number where you recorded this video?
I think it was 11042 But I'm not 100% sure
@@ducktailcat Mine is 7202 but same picture on the wall :-)
That music is awesome. I fear on the COVID front.
Thank you! I really think this ship is the safest place on earth right now. I will talk about the anti covid concept in the next video
Do you know if it’s possible to work as a cruise ship musician during this days of covid-19?
There are only a handful ships cruising right now. So in theory it's possible but the jobs are very rare.
Two weeks? Same crowd? Don't know how many shows a day but it's.... Gonna be tuff....have a good time though.

The most I've done is a month long cruise. New music every night. Loads of sight reading 😄
@@brassholio Sight reading! What the heck is that? Just kidding.
Your charts or someone else's?
Soooo...is the cruise industry waking up again? How safe are the boats regarding masks and so on? Are the agencies auditioning again?
Hi Juan, thank you for your question. We will answer it in the next video in detail
Why not able to leave the ship
because of covid restrictions
Sea Cruise
