That’s actually a really accurate thing that happened to the theater kids at my school . They went over the teachers house all the time and some of them had dinner with her family regularly.
There are plenty of (usually high school) teachers that do this. I certainly would not, but it works for some teachers in certain school cultures. I feel like a club like Glee would have been made up of students Will was fine knowing where he lived and inviting over for dinner or a cook-out once in awhile.

Finn didn’t “assault” Emma. When she was having a panic attack and the way that he could get her to calm down was kissing her. It’s actually a great grounding technique. There was no assault, no harassment, none of that. Kissing obviously isn’t the only grounding technique, but a major is to get the person to focus on one thing to get them back in the moment.

I guess one can assume his fluency began to deteriorate once his focus was shifted to the glee club. I found the way that he treated Mercedes (as well as some other students) extremely disrespectful. Sure, Rachel was great but Santana was a better dancer and could sing just as well as her and Mercedes could also sing (in my opinion) better than her. Rachel was stuck up and never learned her lesson because no matter how bad Rachel was Mr.Schue still put her on a pedestal.

What does he even do..? Like they never show him helping the kids with their singing, or actually teaching them any vocal techniques. He barely ever makes/teaches them the choreography (he usually has Brittany/mike show them). He only gives them assignments, and even then he never helps them pick songs or gives them any help. The only time he’s shown actually teaching/helping them with their numbers is before a competition, and then all he does is give vague feedback like “get it together” “needs more energy” or “good lets take it from the top”. And then after literally doing NOTHING, all the kids say “Mr. Schue was the best teacher I ever had, he changed my life.” Like how..? You must have had HORRIBLE teachers if he’s the best you got 🙄

He's a spanish teacher not a music teacher. He's just fluent in singing and dancing. Also we don't see the whole years of school life in glee because it is a TV show. We don't have enough evidence to be convinced that he isn't teaching anything at all. And whenever Will dances in front of the club, they just dance along with him most of the time, so theres no point teaching them how to dance since they can just do it.

While I do agree that Quinn was being extremely immature, I think the scene could've been a little better without blaming her. Quinn was still really young and adjusting to having to give up her baby, I could understand her rage.
Well,Quinn needed therapy for the amount of unsolved internal problems she had,not her teacher screaming on her (who has no right to do that,who does he think he is?).
@@AnaLu07 even though he probably shouldn't have yelled at her, but he's not completely in the wrong here. The problem is Quinn blatantly telling to his face "This is all your fault!" Mr. Schue and the Glee club have been nothing but supportive of her while she was pregnant, and now she has the audacity to blame him for everything she's been through? I would've been equally pissed.

@Alexandra Davies at the end of the episode he said they couldn't twerk anymore and let Unique get a key to the bathroom, but only after Sue attached a port-a-potty with question marks all over it to the floor in the choir room.
The fact that he cares more about twerking in performances than a student feeling safe and comfortable shows how bad of a teacher and person as a whole he is. Like, Unique just wanted to use the bathroom, she didn’t feel safe in the others. The same with the Marley shell-bra debacle. She was uncomfortable wearing that and he SUSPENDED her for it. To top it all off, she had been struggling with bulimia in the first place, so she already felt shitty about her body. He should have been fired or at least disciplined in some way.

I just skipped this episode. I couldn't watch it. The amount of creeppines and shame i felt was too much for me.
Most of this stuff (the “creep stuff”) was the fault of the writers and directors. Matthew Morrison is around the same age as the students’ actors, they’re his peers, and that’s how the characters are written. They essentially write him like one of the students, having them be good friends and whatnot, choice choreo/blocking, and it comes off as kinda pervy to the viewer because they forgot that these are supposed to be students and their teacher. So all this “Will should’ve gone to jail” stuff is a bit much because the directors never stopped it. That’s not to say Will Schuester was great, he still kinda sucked as a teacher and sometimes person (things like the Spanish teacher ep, Finn’s jacket, Marley’s suspension, the twerking ep, etc.), but this is GLEE for crying out loud, he’s only about as sucky as literally any other character. The only character who didn’t suck was Burt Hummel (bless his heart for being the best character on Glee despite limited screen time)
(Edit: Great characters also include Beiste and Mike Chang. Also, I just remembered that whole Will blackmailing Finn with into the glee club thing, so maybe he should’ve gone to jail lol)
Honestly, I still love Rachel. Yeah she was a diva, and a downright selfish jerk at some points, but I mean, she was TALENTED. Triple threat. Those are hard to find.
