I think this is the most we’ve learned about Taizo since his debut fight, not that I’m complaining. His dynamic with Kyohma is pretty touching, helping him out with whatever he may have overlooked. Heck, even under Sybilt’s control, his wish to take over Taizo’s company is more so Taizo could focus more on Vanguard instead of spreading himself thin. Now that’s what you call a true friend.
You don’t know how happy I am to see new Dragon Empire support after only having two characters use that Nation until Nao last season. One thing I liked about the original series is that they could have multiple characters use the same clan, like teams Cesar and Dreadnought, but that each character would have a different play style for it. That’s what I’m really looking forward to this season, especially with how half of the Nation’s in overDress were severely underused.
So Sylbit is actually possessing one of the Destined Fighters. Three guesses as to who it could be…
Next week it’ll be Masanori vs Jinki, one of the more anticipated matchups this season. I’ll be curious to see how the other characters will react if the Uniformers Project is brought up.

Even though the Destined One's Ride line is copy pasted from Fated Ones. Like nothing was really unique With him, even having a EoB retire and draw skill.
It's gotta be Either Hikari or Jinki due to the OP using a mirror for him, I highly doubt it's anyone else because they don't seem that different, even though when we first met Kuon in the school he already was under the Mental Pollution it only removes that inate inhibitor for Desires, Senka's wish is to fight and beat Nao so does Syb need to pollute her mind for it, no Hikari is the only one Acting vastly different from how she's supposed to be for it too be coincidental
@@SuperSayianWarrior I’m not talking about the Ride Lines, but how Kyohma’s Dragon Empire deck was used compared to what we’ve seen before. For example, Nao’s Dragon Empire deck is focused on dealing multiple attacks with her Vanguard, while Kyohma’s is focused on powering up his Rearguards.
I don’t think it’ll be Hikari, given Kuon’s prominence this season and that scene with Jinki might mean he and Gui might join together for his fight against Masanori. Sylbit may be possessing one of the fighters, but I don’t think their directly possessing whoever it is, at least for the moment.
@@SuperSayianWarriorI'd argue for Kuon. Hikari's attitude change could be due to her Destined One's powers letting her see the events of the previous seasons. She probably feels guilty over her brother risking his life to help her. As well as a bit of anger for his selfishness. If it wasn’t for Future Hikari's Fated One, history would've repeated itself.

The Destined One of Scales being Kyohma, who keeps balance and The Fated One of Guiding Star being Taizo, who leads others and gets his jobs done and goes on to fulfill his dreams. Genius naming.
@@samriddhisingha6424 if you think about aequilibra is the leader of his troop giving his comrades guidance and support to find there strength and in turn seeing there success means aequilibra will obtain its own strength to lead by example, to strike at the exact moment of victory.
While welstra calls on it allies to help reach the heights its wants to obtain. Asking for the impossible of its comrades in order to fight how it wants to. Splitting its focus between maximum and euranthye And yet not matter how difficult the task. Every one likes welstra and wants to lean on its strength and support welstra. So it can reach the heights its wants to obtain.
Like zero and infinity these two have similar playing style but there are massive differences that make them two sides to one coin. And in the end describe the users of the cards too a t
Taizo needs his own theme song. His final turn was setup for something big, though he didn’t get that bang we wanted. Ah well, I’m happy with how he got a win anyways.

I did not expect that win at all given Taizo seemed the least interested in wanting his wish to come true but man that was such a surprise win (and seeing how Scales and Guiding Star are opposites was fun to see)!
Tbf he was actually the most passionate about it. But just wanted to do it through hard work! And he won’t let anyone tell him otherwise! 😁 and in a sense his wish was already granted because of Akina now he just needs to put in the effort!
The similarity between scales vs guding star with there distinct differences is very interesting. Similarly to zero and infinity.
Scales- spends time to strength its forces to maximum potential of its comrades so it can lead the charge to have a decisive victory
Guiding star- calls on allies to do the impossible so welstra can reach the heights it desire

Honestly I think he had the second biggest motivating factor in this fight. He's trying to help his lifelong best friend from being mind poluted by a slightly menacing stuffy. Plus, nothing would fire him more than a tough Cardfight against Kyohma

Serious notes, my guess is either Kuon, since Sylbit might want to devour cray the same way he did Gab's tribesmen, or Hikari, since Liael was already shown to start from a humble beginnings in season 1 and now "evil" in this season
I think kuon more likely but it’s also possible for hikari since liael summon chant is wings of conviction here from the past

I mean people have it down to 3 people,being Kuon, Hikari and Jinki. Now, the Kuon one is weak because it only makes sense plot twist wise, the Strongest being Hikari given her 180 personality flip and hiw Lianel=Odium has Latin Odium meaning extreme hatred or Disgust towards one individual or individual actions, Jinki because if the OP, which given how Bushiroad hid the Ep13 scene in the OP the ENTIRE time, could be it again

Something I notice about aelquilibra the deck it self seem to be very cost effective while maximizing the potential of itself and other unit. Which plays into kyhoma character and in this moment he was probably banking on a trigger since he was at negative power so that it would be easier to survive the turn and that he would more option next turn. He was trying to balance out his options and be cautious so he could put his focus on winning . But that’s cautiousness is what let taizo over take him 😁 20:48
Holy shit. That support if that thing minus counterblast lasted until end of turn. It'll be peak. The sole reason why this deck need a lot of CB mostly because of maximum. And now we can negate that.

Although I'm still excited for the match, as a seiyuu simp, I'm very, VERY excited to hear more Masaaki Mizunaga. If you want your character to sound like a chad immediately my man's the go to.

Bro Ryueen fight like beast even in cardfight also, I have 3 suspect for which syblit might posses :
1. Jinki : the hint on the opening might tell us he is or maybe not (he's the weakest of all)
2.Yuna : fit perfectly that the SIMP will be the most lowkey disguise people wouldn't bet an eye
3. Hikari : because duh the most obvious one because if im at hikari age I still in deep shock from learning all of this all of sudden.
Bonus: if the plot is too obvious is gonna be kuon but i know he's too smart for that

That said masanori and even more said so taizo where the most questionable but this just proves akina really did grant taizo wish too I can say that for sure now. He was really able to grab a 1/100 chances 19:25
I mean it wasn't him granting them their wish, it's just their wishes lined up, if anything Taizo helped Mi-Tan with her wish more then Akina

As for taizo there have been moments that even thought he driven he struggle with his belief in himself when he failed but seeing Akina believe so hard in himself gave him the belief to also reach out his hand! 🤚. And create his own miracle!
I’m just saying indirectly he was able to grant all of the fated one user wishes!

Nao is already in the pro peagues, mikoto found her own strength to change herself. Taizo found his answer to what he should do, akina got his wiah granted and supu no longer desires nothing. All thats left out of the fated one is masanori who likely joined oit of curiosity and was able to see something extremely interesting as a result as well

Masanori what i assume his wish to be is to explore and understand the furthest depth of human desire. And to do that by any means necessary even if its regard as taboo
And in a way Akina was able to grant that wish. Cause masanori could see Akina strong desires but for him it was a different type of desires that he clearly found interesting. Cause it was something he didn’t fully believe aka “miracle boy” and miracle and taboo are two side of the same coins
So in the final fight not only was able to fufill his own wishes he was able to pull suo own will and desire. And person he previously deem empty. And to do it without manipulation. So he was able to see something new and interesting for him another form of desire he strongly believed in aka wishes/hope!

That DE deck has me hyped and inspired, so clean an efficient that man is defo my favourite Destined one owner.

For all of You who thought Taizo was gonna lose: IN YOUR FACE!
...Well guess my prediction is debunked.
Spoilers!
Before this episode I thought Kyouhma wanted to take over the company because he sees himself as a much more worthy CEO than Taizo because Taizo is too relaxed and doesn't take his work seriously, but I was proven wrong not only on Kyouhma's intentions but also this match, Kyouhma was a good friend looking out for Taizo wanting to take over the company so that Taizo can just focus on vanguard, also I didn't expect Taizo to win honestly, and it pretty much confirmed to us that if the "Fated Ones" would win they would use new support cards to do it.
Now for the cardfight, well I already said that I was surprised Taizo won, so lets talk about Destined One of scales Aelquilibra, I kinda like his skill honestly, though it does remind me of Soul Saver Dragon (the original one btw) but with less cost. and now intoducing a new mechanic OverCharge, I like the way the deck works honestly using Aelquilibra to not only increase power but also gaining power himself, triggering Overcharge, multi-attack and let's not forget about the Divine Skill, though my only gripe with this is the fact that the power increase of triggers is reduced by 10000 which good if your opponent pulled any other trigger, except the overtrigger, which in this case is bad, honestly I would have preferred if it worked like Vortex Dragonewt where the trigger effect is completely nullified, so that even if the opponent pulled the overtrigger it would be useless and also it's a neat call back to previous DE cards, it is a Divine skill so you can only use it once and I think that's fair.
So next is Masanori VS Jinki, and honestly I rather have Jinki win this than Masanori, I'm curious on what the new Alden can do and what Jinki was doing before the Destined Showdown.
So with this new revelation my new predictions is now this (and I'm not gonna stop until the last few matches, even though I might be wrong in the future)
Suo VS Kuon - Kuon Wins
Taizo VS Kyouhma - Taizo Wins (this episode)
Masanori VS Jinki - Jinki Wins (next episode)
Nao VS Senka - Nao Wins
Mikoto VS Yuna - Yuna Wins
Akina VS Hikari - Akina Wins
and of course the deciding match is Akina VS Kuon and it's either Akina's win or Kuon's.

@@Loin0ir Fair, I can actually see that happening to just hammer in the fact that Akina's resolve is not enough to just have a wish of his own, especially without using someone else as a basis for his wish.
If that were the case in this scenario, Nao and Mikoto might make sense to win for the following reasons:
For Nao it is a way to finally resolve the dispute between her and Senka (the two were probably part of a team, but had a falling out at one point due to Nao leaving the team and choosing to become a pro)
For Mikoto it is a way for her to convey to Yuna that she just needs to be herself no matter what (since Yuna's description describes her having a double life, an upstanding student who is part of the student council in the day and a massive Mikoto fan at night, which parallels Mikoto in a way.)
@@knexell5894well I thinks that entirely possible I don’t if I would like that better! Cause than that kinda takes away at season 1 the whole reason he won was that he was fighting for the sake of someone else. It’s what gave the extra drive.
And while I can understand hikari pov is it really so wrong to want someone else to be healthy. I think in akina pov i knows not overdress but i think in truth. He been facing his past embracing it a moving on. Cause I think with her being sick for a long time has taught him to appreciate the small moments in life those moments are a miracle to him.
And him losing to present hikari I feel like kinda rejects everything he was in season 1. That as long you don’t give up and keep pushing with the support of those around you. If you take the extra step You can reach out to someone you can grab a miracle. And for Akina that extra step was hikari Cause I think it fair to say he was not only fighting for hikari but also he was fighting to not lose his precious little sister!
Now that said that would definitely be a good conclusion if that happen but I just wonder it would be the best cause he laid everything on the table for future hikari now he should do that with present
And going back to that logic I was think about. Of the fated one I think aki nao and taizo will win because they have an extra reason to fight for! They have reason to take that extra step to reach out to them

Alden VS Zorga next episode I really cannot wait!!!!
This kind of fight reminded me of a clash between rivals and friends. And I know that this has been said too many times already but I will not stop, in Fate terms, both Taizo and Kyohma are like Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Still, congrats to Taizo for winning. Now its 1-1 between both factions. The next match will certainly be pulse-pounding.
Ah so it's like when Gilgamesh and Endiku fought in Day 0 of Strange Fake? That checks out. Course, Gilgamesh only had so much fun in that fight because he considers Endiku to be his only worthy rival, even though his ego makes him immune to saint graph erosion and thus remembers every time he's been defeated in a grail war across every timeline.

Ok, this explains why the mental pollution was not immediately associated to the possible demise of the Destined Ones since it was the same thing that affected Gawbelius crew way back in planet Cray.
So it turns out Sybilt is currently only using a downgraded version of that pollution.
Speaking of Dragon Empire, when Bavsargra has support to catch up other deck, even thought the reason why Bavsargra never getting support because she become teacher in lore, i still don't accept reason follow lore.

23:37 His Destined One is the Destined One of Protection, his wish obviously doesn't involve resurrection. Someone as tricky as Masanori of all people should be able to figure that out.
If anything, Masanori said that to mess with Jinki. Just look at the way he spoke to Suo during their match.
I was convinced that the plot would have the first three rounds be wins for the destined ones, but good on Bushiroad for proving me wrong and giving Taizo the win he deserved.
But they've all but confirmed that Legacy wins with Akina and the DivineZ cast loses because God forbid Bushiroad actuall making use of New Female leads

@@SuperSayianWarrior we all know masanori is gonna lose. i would be more surprised if he won and dissapointed as that means nao and mikoto are basically doomed to lose unless they pull a fast one and let akina lose the first fight and needing to win in the rematch.
if masanori loses, AT LEAST 1 of them (mikoto or nao) are winning. Hopefully Nao. Given she was eliminated from the Fated Clash so fast she was left as a guest to watch. And to rub salt into the wound, it is heavily implied she still lost in the original timeline. While you could argue Mikoto at least got one win in the other timeline where taizo said "yeah. no". unless mikoto was immediately told to go vs Akina
@@ianr.navahuber2195 yeah but see, look at the track record. When was the last time Any female character actuall won? Sure Nao did win a nothing filler episode and the training battle but again. Nothing episode and a training battle. Female characters tend to get tossed to the wayside in VG WAY too often. I mean look at Haruka, aide to arguable the strongest VG female in the Entirety of the show, and she lost more fights then she won.
Sure they can pull a YuYu, but unless Syblit promises that if Fate wins they'll release the mind Pollution, Akina kinda needs thar win against Hikari
@@SuperSayianWarrior Nao’s wins against Akina in his first fight and Mondo are still valid, especially the latter since her win against him brought her closer to her goal of becoming a pro, so it’s not filler and it shows how female characters hardly get tossed to the wayside in Vanguard.
I will take a bet and say masanori is the one who has been possessed just because it sounds like a plot twist. They have similar mindset about human’s greed so there might be no reason to control him but hey, when you’re gonna cause trouble why not make it double???

Kyouma deck playstyle and theme is remind me of Revolver deck from Yugioh Vrains, also the Divine Skill is amazing, not only deal 1 damage but also decrease opponent trigger check 10000 power
It's a budget version if Neuvelle Vague in that it only cancels the power 93.75% of the time

@@nhatphinguyen7785 That is a skill take directly from 'The Purge'. But Kai's 'The Purge' was much crazier, so in the future they can only recreate part of his skill. Basically Aelquilibria got the Breaking Shining Wing from Gancelot and the dmg dealing skill from 'The Purge'.

There is tons of hate online for Kurosaki but he just became my favorite character in DivineZ. If he does manage to get more screen time, the scales will be balanced again. I don’t think his motivations were horrible. Nor is his deck bad.
The overall hate is unnecessary because I quite like him as well and his motivations may seem cliché but it’s not horrible by any means and the deck is quite good to be honest!!! 🥲🤣

@@MercBlackMG I mean gab said it himself even the purest wish turn twist thanks to sybilt. By kyhoma was simply looking out for his friend. And aqeilibra not bad at all. The deck focus on maximum the potential of each units by having them focus on what there good at. So there’s a lot potential with overcharge. Same with the divine skill not only for the power but since it’ll allow all units to go into over charge and inflict damage. I say that pretty solid. And since we don’t know the full cost or condition could very well be low cost
The episode was fun and I'm glad that we got more of Taizo's lore since we didn't really get any during Season 1 since he was more focused on helping Hikari. I still hope that they one day go back to that issue he had with his father not believing in what he was doing and that one day he can get them to see, at least Kyohma is there to support to him.
My only grip with the episode is that the win wasn't really deserved IMO. He had to top deck that new g1 and they actually made Kyohma misplay by making him take the g1 attack instead of blocking both it and Trolle, he had 2 crits and a front trigger in hand, even if the new g1 gained 10k power he still had enough with just those three cards to block those two attacks and then take the Maximum to go 5 and then kill Taizo on his next turn. The development was good and the bromance was wholesome but like the win was forced IMO but I get it they didn't want to make Taizo job again.
@@_simplylink_ I disagree it’s a 100% deserve! He reached out his hand and grab a miracle! And I see your point but he was most likely banking on a damage trigger cause he was a -3k. To make it easier. So probably just didn’t have enough to block 2 out of the 3 attacks.
Plus it also kinda a reflection of kyhoma he weigh out what would be the best option for the best possible turn next turn. If he got a damage trigger he would’ve had more options next turn! Essentially balancing out the scale so he can survive this turn and win next turn. But taizo drive over took that!
Ok I think the grade 1 did have enough power to hit as long as there’s some indication of it getting power (18 vs -2 requires a 25k guard) (this also allows Trolle to break through a 30)but he also never indicates it gets power so we just gon have t see on Tuesday ig 😭😭

Pretty nice fight overall. Though the power of Sybilt has me wondering how powerful it is, since the previous fight of Kuon and Suo seemed rather friendly at the end and like they understood each other. So I wonder if he has that power compelling him still.
Also Sybilt is definitely either Kuon, because his research probably led him to discovering Sybilt in the first place and getting possessed that way, or it's Hikari because of her evil umbrella in the OP and maximum emotional damage to Akina.

Another great episode as usual. Just a little bit disappointed from the dragon empire cards, judging from the german weapon names it would've been the perfect opportunity to make a "Tachikaze" Ride line and Boss! But oh well what can you do XD

Panzerschreck doesnt seem to be using soul for his skill and at 11:42, the cb hasnt flipped yet so Aelquilibra and Panzershreck arent using cb.16:15 one of cb was used so divine skill uses 1 cb.16:24 there should 3 cards in soul but there is only 1 so either Aelquilibra divine skill cost is 1 cb and 2 sb or the divine skill is 1 cb and 1 sb and Shalhuub skill uses 1 sb on attack. At 18:41 you can see only 2 cb was used but the energy, which should be 9 by now, is zero so the deck uses energy a lot.
Yeah everything seems to be right. I think it’s quite likely that Aelq is 1 cb and 1 soul for his divine. I’m interested in what Fariizas does because it seems to be the usual 13k van booster. Based on Taizo having no field, ima assume it’s most likely a cb 1 to retire 1 or 2 rearguards because anything else would be suspect on why it wasn’t used.

Aquilibra is just so thricking awesome and I was sorta hoping for him to be like dragonic vanquisher but still I do really like it and the main skill is definitely interesting giveing rearguard 5k to all and draw them add 10k to self but still the divine skill is crazy dealing damage and even a trigger pulled will be minessed by 10k so any trigger besides over is just cancled that is pretty crazy but still what's the cost for the skills I wonder but weirdly he gives me serious dragonic vanquisher vibes but still I'm so glad welstra won and support boss
