After watching Gabby played for France in the Olympics, I’m now a big fan. She’s athletic, quick, have mad hops, plays great defense, and can take it to the basket and can shoot from the 3s. Can’t wait to watch her play in the W.

Dantas is a good big in the rotation. Temi will play in the Playoffs. Thats another good big. We dont really have any glaring weaknesses right now.

The sad thing is, most people judge a players value with ppg. Williams is a big athletic guard who is capable of disrupting any offense. That's why she may be a problem for other teams.

She’s good , but it’s not like they picked up a top 10 player tbh. Kahlea copper or Ariel Atkins or Rhyne howard is better than Williams for instance

Lin Dunn handcuffed the Fever with max contract players who come off the bench for 5 minutes or don't play at all. The potential she can pull off an impactful trade is 0 to none. The Storm is so unhinged atm, Gabby will pull in some bucks and go back to France as the Storm is knocked out quickly.
Defense wins championship and Seattle Storm already has top DPOY candidate in Izzy and overall top defensive team. Add Gabby Williams to that.

Underrated trade is Hines-Allen from Washington going to the Lynx
in 2022 Gabby avg. about 8 pts/game , 3 assists and 5 rebounds. She avg. 15.5 pts in Olympics. She's good player but is not a game changer.

She has to develop chemistry with the Storm - let's see how that works out. The French team became very good together. You never know how a new personality will disrupt a team. Could be great, but not guaranteed.
As of now they would be playing the Aces first round. If they beat the Aces they would be playing the Liberty in the second round assuming Liberty advance. Good defender in the WNBA but averaged 8.3 in 2023 her best year.

This is laughable you do realize she only average career in the WNBA seven points a game, right. All these Olympic players, they looked horrible this week in the WNBA. The Olympic player does not translate to the WNBA. She will not be that good and Seattle is not a contender.
Fever need to get Odessey Sims and dump Wheeler at the end of the season. Miychell needs to stay with the Fever, she is a clutch player.

You also have to consider the fact TEMI is expected to be back for Fever possibly this weekend and it will only make them even better from the bench . They could have 4-5 players in double figures scoring every game

I'm sorry but the situation has yet to transpire so we'll just have to wait and see, so far all the critics of a variety of players have been grossly inaccurate.
The Fever have several roster spots they can inprove on and wont make an effort. The Fever,on court are doing much better despite the poor coaching n management. Thats the key players being really good together . Instead of improving the coaching or upgrading the real drop off on roster after the top 6 or 7,there will be no efforts by management to do anything.
The Liberty lost to the Fever the last time they played. That's how a team beats them.
The Liberty went 10-42 from 3 that game. Do you expect them to shoot that bad every game? Those were wide open jumpers and not the Fever playing good perimeter defense.
@@Barto-p4k fever were 7 for 24 for only 29% - not a strong argument. Both teams shot poorly from the outside. Caitlin has all season really, been in a shooting slump. The fever are simply much better than they were. They can beat the Liberty, as literally demonstrated.

The Fever needed Gabbie they are missing a 3&D wing & Gabbie would have been a perfect fit with the Fever. They would have been a serious contender for the Chip this year. They will be a tuff out but they would have a really had a chance to win the Chip if they got the 3&D wing they need.
This is why I don’t trust Linn Dunn to build a team around CC going forward. She’s too old school I believe without a doubt she is trying to turn the Fever into the old Bird & Jackson Storm & that’s a big mistake! She is also happy & content this year just with making the playoffs by her actions & not really competing for the Chip this year. Thats not how your GM should be if you see there’s an opportunity to win it all you got to go for it period!!
It’s new day in 🏀 you play outside in not inside out like the old days especially with CC. You have to install a 5 out offense which means all 5 players can stretch the floor & shot the 3 consistently which gives CC the space she needs operate in the half court by pressuring the rim without a help defender cheating in the paint because you have non shooter like Smith on the floor.
The Fever are only missing a player like Gabbie because Smith is not good. She smokes 2-3 bunny layups every game that CC gets her, she can’t shoot FT, she can’t shoot 3’s, & she can’t defend other wings. She is not a fit with CC period! & any GM with half a brain should know that. She should have been traded before the break. Even if it was for lesser one dimensional player because she gives you nothing in reality. You can’t play her AB on the floor at the same time it’s why their half court offense is horrible with her in the starting lineup.
I can’t think of any reasons why Gabbie would not want to play with CC & the Fever. The only reason is Dunn never tried to sign her which if true is confirmation she needs to be fired because she does not want to play modern ball. You have a team that has showed you they are 1 player away from really competing for championship & you do nothing when what you need was available as a free agent. It’s because Smith was her pick & she wants to play old school ball & turn CC into Sue Bird.
I can’t wait to hear the details of Gabbie’s offers.
