- Our sales manager Brandon spends a lot of time on the water with his trusted pup Ollie. Here are a couple quick tips to help get your dog comfortable with being in a boat. Start slow, establish good habits, and hopefully you can bring your pup with you wherever you go!

My boy just hates the canoe won't go for treats nothing now. We flipped the last time he saw a fish and couldn't help, but jump in, but flipped the canoe in the process so now he's scared I keep trying, but I think he thinks we're gonna flip again. I like your land method ill try that. I had the canoe half in the water half on land, but I guess I gotta start all over again with him

What size of canoe would you recommend for a solo paddler and medium sized dog? Would be paddling mostly on lakes with shorter portages.
great video! how many feet does this canoe have? i'm buying a canoe but still not sure if i should get the 15'' or 17''. Wich size is more versatile? My girl will be paddling with me 40% of the time and we will be making maximum 3 day trip. the rest of the time i will be paddling solo. what would you recommend, 15 or 17 feet canoe ?? thank you !
I own an 18 ft cedar strip and a 92 pound German Shepherd. Thinking of doing a solo trip with him. Is he too heavy?
