SCHILTHORNBAHN 20XX - Rope hoist section1

How does the suspension cable of the Schilthornbahn 20XX get into place? It takes a mixture of good preparation, healthy thrills, the teamwork of everyone involved and precision - eye to eye with the helipilot. Once again it's clear: precise teamwork on the construction site of the Schilthornbahn 20XX. Impressively calm and experienced, the helipilot flies almost vertically up the 600 metre difference in altitude from Stechelberg - the leader rope in tow. This must first be pulled into the pulleys with millimetre precision, then the suspension rope is pulled in from the valley. The rope is tensioned from the mountain after everything has been perfectly and securely fixed in the valley.
