    I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

      My garage wall has a stud box to close the gap in the wall height to the next room which makes my 16” stud spacing fall apart. It doesn’t even have 24” stud spacing. Can I go higher than 19” for the bottom bracket as long as I maintain the spacing from the top bracket? I need to go up 30” from the garage floor. In my head it would just make the rack slightly closer to the wall when it’s in the down position.

    According to the PRX manual, the recommended spacing between spaces is 75 inches. I couldn't find any mention of 69 inches in the manual. Additionally, for a 19-inch bottom bracket, the top bracket should measure 94 inches.

      You'll need to select your own hardware for a concrete or brick install. We only include hardware to install into wooden studs. We recommend working with someone at a hardware store to determine what hardware will be best for your wall. Tapcons, wedge anchors or shield anchors do work best.

  • @jon4097

    What determines the 9' (108") recommended height for the 90" rack? Is that for head / torso clearance for kipping pullups / Bar muscle ups? My garage is 103" floor to ceiling, so it would be just a bit short. I'm 5'10", and Bar MU isn't necessary but I would like to be able to practice butterfly or kipping pullups.

    • @prxperformance
      @prxperformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      9' is the height needed to fold up a 90" rack! If it's a shorter space, we can make things work. Folded out, you'd be at 90" and have 28" above the bar (23" for your 103" ceiling). You'll totally be able to do butterfly and kipping pull ups. I am 6ft and performed those movements in our Pull Up Bar Video. Also, for the 103" space, a 90" rack will work just fine! Follow page 12 in the instruction manual for your specific install solution 👍

    I'm confused - if you start with the "lower side" when installing the bracket and measure up 19 inches, won't that make it impossible to level the higher side if it is also measured up 19 inches? Shouldn't it start with the higher side and then add a rubber leveling foot to the lower side of the rack?

    Why does the measurement between the two wall brackets have to be that specific? It doesn't matter exactly where the brackets are as long as the linkage arms for the top and the bottom are mounted parallel to each other and fold at the same angle.

    • @prxperformance
      @prxperformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The measurements between brackets will keep them in spec so that they fold at the same angle. Just being slightly off will dramatically effect the path of the rack and it won't fold correctly. There are some modifications that can be done but yes it's important for folding.
