    Thank you for this excellent video. I did not know the life cycle of lead acid was so bad in compare to lithium. I was planning to buy a few more 7200 MaH lead acid batteries for my camera setups but the life cycle you mentioned makes me look again at this. The only problem I have is that there are so many crappy lithium cells for sale. How can I know I am not buying bad made new ones?

      Lithium batteries are imported from china. In most cases they are inferior quality as well as very very much expensive as there is no competitor. On the other side lead acid batteries are produced in India with much competitive price. They are very good in quality and trust.
      My lumia phone of 2013 still gives 2 days battery life but Samsung S10 does not last 3 hours. You can understand how quality of lithium ion battery degraded now a days.
      Verdict.... Lithium is better if you can get the good one.

    Hi, it's a good explanation. so my question is about what type of battery should I use for a home Inverter?...I tried to use an after market Lead acid car battery, but it's capacity drops in every recharging cycle, getting worse like in 3 months time and no longer works for it's watt hour!...So what do u advise me???...thanks

    What's the future of both types of the batteries? Do you think in 5-7 years, Lithium Ion batteries will consume the market from Lead Acid batteries? Thanks.

    Does lead acid bettery overcharge matter. Do battery requre any overvoltage protection cercuit.

    • @vtorsi610
      @vtorsi610 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, lead acid over-charge eventually does matter. There is a time and amps limit before you cause damage to the cells. The Charge Control should / must have the Over-Voltage built-in ...

    What is better for the planet? Lithium batteries or lead acid

    • @tanujaboghar8122
      @tanujaboghar8122 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lead acid we should reduce usage of more battery appliances and start using more ac current appliances (eg instead of using laptops we should start using old gen wired pc (desktop) because the biggest problem ryt now is how to store renewable energy not how to produce it there are 1000s of ways to produce renewable energy but we dont have eco-friendly way to store it .so instead of storing that energy we can simply use it directly ) BEST WAY TO GENERATE RENEWABLE ENERGY 24/7 IS ( salt storage ) hot salt thermal energy storage (search it on web or youtube ) thanks 👍
