www.dailythoughts.com “Sing and rejoice, daughter Zion! Now, I am coming to dwell in your midst-oracle of the LORD.” Zechariah 2:14 I wonder how we would act if God was in our midst in person. I believe it would be completely different. We would treat everyone with respect and dignity, we would know that He was real. Just His presence would change the unbelieving, they would no longer doubt, they would see their savior. As we wait upon the Lord, it is us who must demonstrate His love here on earth. Dear Lord God, You know what we face each day, a world that thinks only of itself. May we bring Your peace and joy to those around us. May we learn to pray for those who persecute us. May we be Your loving presence Lord as we wait for You. Help us put on Your shield as we prepare for the day ahead. I ask this in Your most holy name, Amen. Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. th-cam.com/video/1LEj4LPCcgM/w-d-xo.html Thank you for the inspiration and allowing God to speak thru your song! To the future me “Then Peter approaching asked him, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.” Matthew 18:21-22 Day 20 of our Lenten journey: Forgiveness, we receive it each time we go to our Father if we are contrite of heart, no matter how many times we go back He is there with open arms wanting to forgive us as we return. How do we respond to others who continue in their offenses, do we pass judgement upon them? Do we condemn them or do we accept them as our Father does when they go to Him? Love the sinner, hate the sin, do not confuse the two. It is hard to understand why some continue in their sinful ways but we must be Christ like and continue to love them and forgive them otherwise our burden is greater. “So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.”” Matthew 18:35 Dear Father God, Thank You for the graces that you have poured out upon us, thank You for allowing us the grace of acceptance. I pray for those that have yet to accept Your grace in their lives. Prayers for a willing heart to look beyond the offense and see Your creation. Thank You for preparing this day, may I go and do Your will and not mine today. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
