yall missed the entire point of the song... this song is about the popularity of mesmerizer, and how 32ki doesn't want to make "new mesmerizers" forever. The lyrics seem to be talking about trends, and the line "following in the footsteps of your own success" makes it feel even more like the song is in fact about mesmerizer. i think this is a common thing for many creators too. One thing goes viral, and then it defines your existence on the internet. I think the lesson to learn from this is to let people get popular, but not call everything they make a new version of their most popular creation.. This song is amazing and I can relate so much to the message of the fear of being a one-hit-wonder, I want to persue art as my career, but I have this constant fear that I will get popular for a single work and never be known for anything else, and the fact that people are only comparing this song to mesmerizer is heartbreaking.
if you also noticed the food! In the beginning, the food started to look more fancy and rich. Not until after the chorus, the food slowly turn into junk food. ( I think)
its because, the food in the beginning was good, and 32ki's fandom was small but his fandom liked his music, after the chorus (aka the part where the large amounts of foods come in) is a metaphor for when mesmerizer got popular and miku and teto(the viewers) ate all of it, once they've had their full, they dont wanna touch the other foods thats placed infront of them(meaning the viewers got bored of the other songs 32ki makes) to try to appeal them, the food gets more unhealthy and turns into junk food(32ki trying to impress the viewers by making similar works like mesmerizer) but they are simply uninterested
To add onto that, most foods that appears in the 2nd half of the song are also the foods that used to trend for a short period of time, contrasting with the lyrics of the song 😢
Though this song is probably about 32ki's fear surrounding Mesmerizer and we should respect if the message is to see the songs separately (and can continue to support,) I noticed at 2:48 of the song, Kasane Teto's right (her right) eye is black like in Mesmerizer.

I didn’t notice them! These are really cute details I’m glad that you didn’t feel the need to drag mesmeriser into this, since I think the creator only added neru for fun since it’s widely theorised she’s behind it all so neru symbolises the fans in the song as she’s seen enthusiastic to feed miku and teto more
actually, before the second music break (akita neru's reveal), there was a lil foreshadowing at the first music break (the boba tea one), because you can see the hand that takes the bill and gives them the menu back has yellow nails! which is quite disturbing if you consider that means they already knew it was neru all along-
0:27 it actually says "食え" which means "eat" but in a more impolite way 0:24 i think that says "食べろ", not "食べる", it also means "eat" but in an impolite way
@@Zxotic_Wolfie ah ok I assumed there’re some secret because in mesmerizer there were so many hints of crying for help in sighn languages and morse code =w=
actually i wanna add something more, here's something from the Fandom wiki of the song: Some people have realized that Mesmerizer and Obsolete Meat has a motif of having details that are the opposite of the other, like: - In Mesmerizer, Miku is on the left and Teto is on the right side, while in Obsolete Meat, Teto is on the left and Miku is on the right side instead. - Mesmerizer's confirmed BPM is 185, while Obsolete Meat's confirmed BPM is 158. (If you are wondering where this is from, its from the official lyrics file in the desc of the MVs) - In Mesmerizer, at 1:29, Teto is the one being muffled, while in Obsolete Meat, at 0:39, Miku is the one muffled instead. - Mesmerizer's album cover has Teto on the upper right and Miku on the bottom left of the cover, while Obsolete Meat's album cover has Teto on the lower right and Miku on the upper left of the cover instead.
the lightswitch isnt really meant to represent anything, its just how some light switches work, its fully bright, goes orange, then it turns off comepletely.
0:27 i think this says 食え (pronounced kue) rather than 食之; the former means the same as 食べろ (pronounced tabero; a different inflection of taberu as shown in the vid but it's impossible to see the bottom of the kana and it's the same inflection as kue) but its a rougher/more masculine term
Do correct me if needed, but 食べろ is the _imperative_ form of 食べる. Rather than more masucline, I'd say its a _command_ "eat it." Rather than the verb "to eat". An example would be "逃げる" Nigeru, meaning (I/you) run. As opposed to "逃げろ" Nigero, being a command, "Run!"
This was a good analysis but I have to say, the thing I find interesting about this song compared to Mesmerizer is there isn’t ANY sos messages or really anything hidden to my knowledge, at most the little details are for fun here yet I’m inclined to believe this song still ties to Mesmerizer given Neru showed up and that was the creator acknowledging her existence. I’m of the theory this happens before Mesmerizer cause well- it seems clear by the end of that song Miku and Teto are fully controlled by hypnosis and here they are clearly aware the whole time, it’s just they were unknowingly dragged into this which is probably how Neru got to kidnap to begin with next to them fainting at the end. Of course I respect the creator if they want to keep these songs separate but the themes in both the actual meaning of the songs and the mvs are just very similar I feel they’re linked.
@@no1ryomafan585 i tried to avoid mentioning any mesmerizer stuff in the video cuz this song is a metaphor about satsuki being obsolete after mesmerizers fame dies down (which is why they're rlly similar) but they might be purposely linked like u said

So I think Neru appearance is not only a response to mesmerizer fame in the sense the creator unsure where to go next after this without repeating it but also to be a prequel. (And tbh I think it be cool to end off this as I don’t think this needs to be any longer then 3 songs linked if the last song was about Miku and Teto fighting against Neru but it’s really up to the creator.
