Sherry I think what I enjoy most about your channel is the planning you put into your projects. You know exactly what you want to do. You don't say "well, try it this way, or let's see what this looks like." You get right down to the task at hand. Your confidence gives your viewers confidence. That's one of the signs of a great teacher. Thank you.!
So many waste the viewers time by acting like they are surprised at beginning when viewers watch. Also leave camera in for 4 min doing repetitive pattern while we wait. Thank you for your preparation, expertise and confidence! 🎉🎉
I know I've said it many times but can't help myself, you are a genius and the world's best crafter! I watched this tutorial again in total amazement knowing from the very start it would be an excellent creation and my friend Sherry, you never ever disappoint! I just love this box, the construction, the paper and the idea of layering and filling it with sweet candy! Can't ever thank you enough. Thank you Sherry 😊!
Sherry, you are AMAZING! I always watch your videos completely through to the end in order to both view your process but to also listen as you explain why you did something a certain way. Then, after I’ve saved it to my playlist, and I’m ready to work on the project, I watch the video in a start-stop-reverse-start… fashion. Here’s what I found when giving this gift box a try. Card stock is best. These boxes are rather thin, but when card stock is added, it gives the gift box some heft. After cutting my shape out, I tried adhering scrapbook paper to it BEFORE putting the gift box together. It didn’t work. The paper, although pre-scored, still did not want to play nice with the box. It wanted to shift and there was really no way that I could see to prevent that from happening. Also, my scrapbook paper was directional and if you try to cover your gift box before putting it together, you are going to end up with some of the sides being upside down! I think the way you demonstrated is perfect and gives much stability to the gift box. Having way too much Christmas card stock in my stash (is that really a legitimate term? 😂) I have gone ahead and cut my gift boxes and card stock out, kept them flat, and put them in individual zip bags for next Christmas. Now, on to my Valentine’s Day gift boxes, Easter, birthdays…. Oh, yes, this one is an award winning idea! THANK YOU, SHERRY!❤
This box is so cute!!! Great minds think alike, I was thinking it would be a perfect candy box, too. I am going to play with the box (or two) to see if I can make one with an acetate window. You're so inspirational, Sherry! Thank you!! 💕❤
Loved this. I find often things look so easy when the instructor is making them, then not so simple when I try them. So far, I have made many of your paper crafts, and they are as simple as you make them! I enjoy the process and am always happy with the results. Thank you for a great year and looking forward to more fun times with you in 2024!
A. What great toys you have! B. Tutorial is absolutely perfect, explaining every step, and showing what it looks like. C. What great ideas!! Love, Love, Love it!!!🎉
Thank for Sharing and taking the time to teach how to measure and score and turn a plain simple box into a treasure. What a Great way to use and Recycle leftover Christmas boxes. Definitely will try this.
Another great project! Beautiful! Sherry, I have a very sturdy box that had some glasses in. It's sort of like a small wine box. Do you have a video of an idea how to use this sort of box? I hate throwing these sort of boxes away! Happy New Year. x
This winter I have decided to make some of your DIY’s and be ready for next Christmas! I especially loved your video making a box for extra fuzzy socks, just in case we need an extra gift! So many ideas. Thank you Sherry! 💜
✍Hello...Loved the tutorial. You must have a degree in Arts and Crafts cause even though I'm considered very good at crafts your approach is very professional and it is very enjoyable watching you. I wish you'd share "your story" of how "the Posh Paper Lady" came to be with us your new subscribers. I love your approach in teaching us how to in our crafting. It's still the Christmas season till January 6, so Merry Christmas🎅🎄 and wishing you a Prosperous, Blessed and Happy New Year 2024 🍷🍷🎉. God Bless Bye from Ohio
Sherry, as I'm catching up on your videos from before I discovered you, I'm in awe of every single one! Adorable box. Quick and easy. And I adore the fact that you don't fuss-- just Make It!
Hello Sherry and family, what another great idea, for using another box bottom. Into something else. I wish you and all of your family, a happy and prosperous New year. 🥳👍🙏. In 2024. Julia Cassidy from Nottingham England 🤓 👍🇬🇧🤗xxx
How do you remember all the steps to so many projects so easily? Do you have a cheat sheet we can’t see? Or are you somewhat of a genius that never forgets anything once you’ve done it? I’m just so amazed how you seamlessly move through all the instructions. You’re a vey talented lady that’s for sure.
Hi, because I generally design most of the things I show on the channel, it’s pretty easy for me to remember the steps. On rare occasions, when there are many pieces and multiple cut sizes, I will use a little cheat sheet. But for the most part, I am crafting from what I conceptualized in my head.😀😀
@@ThePoshPaperLady then that makes you a genius! I marvel at your abilities every session. Did you ever think that this is what you would be doing in your life with this talent? We never know do we? I’m so glad that you decided to share this with us.
@@ThePoshPaperLady have you ever considered publishing a book ? I would love a reference book from you with your basic projects with the dimensions and measurements that you use for instance, your booklets, your basic cards, your boxes, your notepad holders, etc. because sometimes it goes fast for me on the video, and I try saving the videos and I do try taking notes. But it would be so nice to have a little Sherry book I suppose other people have asked you the same. You know you could do it in your spare time lol.
So sweet! And yes I love that this box can be for any reason or any season! Teaching us the process is so appreciated because as you said we don't always have the same size boxes as you do! Thank you so much Sherry! 💙
Hi Sherry you can and do always create something kewl and amazing now that's talent. I hope you and your family and close dear friends, all have a blessed, joyful and healthy 2024 New Year.

With the inside being 3” x 5”, this sounds like a perfect recipe card box, too. :)
