Holy cow phly playing two of the few planes that I actually have back to back. What a week
I love the fact you kill a spawn camper of your team at the end of the match.
Today I had a game where I killed 4 spawn campers in my spawn, in a couple of minutes (game was basically over but I re-spawned for them).
I had a great time in my 76mm sherman blowing up T34-85s and PTs lmao.
I don't know why there isn't more people re-spawning for those, in lower tier you get more if you get a kill than if you die...
spawn campers are a plague right now.
I actively blacklist players on my team who spawncamp on the ground or basehug airbases to draw in enemies. I still can't believe they removed the timer when in enemy ground spawns. At least give us more spawn protection
Idk what it is about the hampden but ever since I first read about it and saw how it looked it’s spoken to me. The flying panhandle is definitely one of my favourite planes

Wow, they placed the driver directly behind the gun. He better hope that it never suffers from a breach failure or he’ll be wearing it through his lap
There was a recoil guard and a plate between the driver and the gun. No where nearly as bad as how the TC was sat right behind the breach on Panzer IIIs and IVs.

I love the Hampden! Early war designs were so quirky but she did a job until the big boys arrived like the Lancaster , Stirling and Halifax.
Loved seeing you help the new ones. Its a great way to entice people to the game. Its the opposite on things like cod where "pros" and pro-wannabes shit on the lobbies causing people to quit it due to how excessively sweaty the experience is.

I had fun spading both of these even in air RB, just a blast and quite capable for a tier 1 bomber.
Hey Phly, can you please do a video on the Ar-2 in USSR air tree for CAS? It's one of my favorite ground attack planes for USSR and I usually take it to 5.3. It's a light bomber so it's pretty quick and is a relatively small target, plus it has EFS, airbrakes, a bombsight, and 3x 500kg bombs.

Hey Phly it’s been 4 years since the La-200 has seen light on the channel. It’s received buffs and a lowered br since the last time you played it was before China, and Sweden were even added. You should take it out again sometime Attempt #10
Hampden is actually good in Naval Battles its thin tail and narrow profile helps against AA Flak. And it carries a decent enough bomb load.
Day 1 of asking Phly to revisit the XA-38 premium CAS plane for USA. It was been moved down to 3.7 and crushes everything at the tier with ease. That paired up with the M4A2 makes American grinding very enjoyable.
Phly, highly recommend playing the IKV103. It's a 4.0 vehicle with a HEATFS shell boasting 400mm pen! On top of that you get a choice of a few decent CAS planes as well!

If you’re looking for a fun low tier plane play the 1.7 French BR.69 it out performs fighters can fly over 500kmh has a cannon and 8 50kg internal bombs that drop off a rack on centerline. The turn rate is crazy and the energy retention is sorcery.
Oddly enough I found this very satisfying.

Most people play it once or twice and then park it 'cause its a turd stock, and never touch again since its buried behind the regular Hampton. But yeah its pretty competent when spaded.

I donno. That would be kind of like the low hanging fruit of them, because its just a little hatch that pops up and the missile squeezes out on the rail, and the fins pop out (with the help of a stick lol).
The problem is that most reloading animations wouldn't line up with the arbitrary reload times Gaijin gives vehicles (for "balance"). You'd have crews ram shells home and then...... kick back and smoke cigs for several seconds. Or they would have to move superhumanly fast.

It's the same with the spitfires. Early war british plane designers must have thought that landing flaps should effectively turn the wings into giant parachutes I guess
17:35 that idea of flyingboat does excist. in the 60/80's idk they rebuild some flyingboards of the army into a flying camper and one story goes that the owner found it prettig nice. but yeah those times gas was cheap

I’ve been wreaking havoc for the past few days with the Stormer HVM. It’s so much fun to shoot down that stupid premium Su-25K multiple times per match, along with the Russian and Chinese premium helicopters. It’s like they don’t see the missile coming most of the time.

if they added reload animations they'd have to make it explain why some tanks with a normal loader take 34 years to reload the gun with, like for example the new SD.KFZ 222 car with the 20mm AA gun, 10 round mag, and a circa 7,5 sec reload (for a non aced crew ofc)
Look i get the mag isnt in the easiest position since theres an MG in the way but the crew mustve learned how to load it quickly

It's a pity that the Hambone couldn't be fitted with RP 3s.
Low tier AI seems to work much better, with a maxed crew my Mariner gunners have over 1200 kills now with me just flying around doing ground targets.
