Thank you for the great insight and video, helped me learn more about the phone! I have a question tho, since i have next to zero knowledge about gadgets, but in regards about charging; Would it be possible to charge the phone using third party charger (e.g ugreen) without harming the battery life? The original charger has only one port and that isnt exactly convenient... Would i still reach the same charging speeds? Do i need to look into 100W+ chargers plus cables? Or i dont need to since your video states that it max out at 33W. So a 65w charger should be sufficient? Can i have you thoughts on this? Thanks
Correct, you should be able to get 33W max from that 65W charger. Honestly I just charge my phones overnight with a 10W charger and it lasts me throughout the entire day. Rarely bothered with fast charging at all 😂
Ive looked for budget gaming phone(iqoo z9) the other day, this saleperson really did a good job at promoting v30 series (clearance sale by directD in august). Somehow if im not seeking gaming performance i would definitely go for it. As i am using oppo reno 10 as my main. Compare to oppo, i think vivo offers lot of camera features.
With his complaints of ads I would personally say no. Not to mention low placement of (and most likely crappy) ID scanner, I would just get something similar to whatever price range this phone is in
Sorry, i never had a midrange phone. I am interested of getting this phone or with similar chipset, does the SD 7 gen 3 stutters when scrolling or opening/apps etc? Anyone please, thank you
@@NasiLemakTech sorry i just realized, the V30 pro is now cheaper, but maybe it’s still a bit expensive over the V40, would still recommend the V40 or the older V30 pro is better because the chipset is a little powerful? I actually am considering the Oppo 11 pro because of IR blaster but you said on your review, that battery was not good. Would appreciate your thought on this. Thanks
@@JowellBautista TBH chipset is the same between both the Vivo V40 and V30. You get a slightly larger battery and potentially better cameras, and more software updates. I'd avoid OPPO for now.
@@NasiLemakTech i mean the V30 Pro and not the regular V30. because it got cheaper here. Is the difference of the chipset between Dimensity 8200 and SD 7 gen3 is noticeable? I suppose the camera is better on the older V30 PRO over the newer V40? I am also considering the Realme GT 6 because of the more powerful chipset so i can use it for 2-3yrs and still smooth, but i am not sure if the camera is comparable or good enough, at least the main camera. I am sorry because these are not available in the country i am living, so i cannot go to the stores and compare it. I just rely on tech reviewers. TIA

Charger I'm referring to is UGREEN Nexode Pro 65W 3-Port GaN Ultra-Slim Fast Charger

What is the sot?

SoT is an unreliable way to gauge battery life as it has too many external factors.
I'm gonna buy this shall i ?
