Hi Mark, thanks a lot for your kind response, my friend 😊 Yes, I also think that is something every photographer should engage with who wants to go into fine art photography. In my experience that is even completely underrated, but actually, it is the base requirement for getting really strong images. Enjoy your Sunday, Christian
Yep, i know what he is telling about! Super good points! Christian Klepp photography is best photography story telling project ive ever seen, for example 🔥🌄
Another great message in this video my friend ! Practice and mistakes make all the difference ! There is no magic formula for sure, but mindset is powerful
Hi @gapcreekonline948, thank you, my friend! Yes, absolutely. Silence is incredibly powerful to bring myself into a creative flow 😊 Enjoy your Sunday, Christian
Well explained video Christian. It’s true so many things come into play when it comes to improving your photography. It’s not only about being able to use your camera well, but slso about reading weather and light patterns to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks for sharing buddy great vid 👍🙏
Hi Adrian, yes, there come really a lot of things into the game. But that's the fun in it, I would say 😊 Thanks a lot for watching, buddy! Enjoy your weekend, Christian
I still don't make great landscape photographs. I was a parttime professional photographer in my younger days. I did photojounalism and documentary photography for lawyers. I was really very good at that. Of course there storytelling is easier. The photo captured the person/scene/event that the newspaper wanted or the lawyer needed. The story was evident in the photo. I am still a documentary photographer by inclination trying landscape (ergo my love of "interaction of humans and nature"). However, my photos often don't capture the "art story" I would like to tell. So, I'm on my 10,000th step and still trying. But it is fun and at the moment that is sufficient for me. A very interesting and insightful video. Vielen Dank!!!
Hi Erich, I think that's the most important thing: it doesn't matter what we do or how we do things in photography. Important is just that it is fun. That sounds after an interesting development, by the way: coming from photojounalism and documentary photography over to landscape photography. Yes, storytelling works completely different in landscapes compared to people photography, as there are simply no people playing any role in the scene. But it is storytelling that brings a photo to art. Maybe I will make some more videos about storytelling in landscape photography, we will see 😉 Thanks a lot for watching, my friend! Enjoy your weekend, Christian
