  • YOUR4X4 - Episode 177 - Fuelled up in Underbool we head north for the Pink Lakes, learn about the incredible slat mining history of the area and push deeper into the Murray Sunset National Park. Camping at Mopoke hut a threatening thunder storm rolls in at sunset creating an amazing scene. Wet sandy track make up our second day in the National Park and another spectacular sunset sees us bedding down at an old Shearing Quarters anticipating our run the next day to the Border Track.

      Hi Victor, thank you for the message. We started 4wd TV back in 2004 and a few years later created YOUR4X4 with a focus on touring. Then came 4wd ProTips and three years ago we started Life Off Road. So including 4wdTV we now make four TV shows.

      Hi Victor, for some reason I couldn't reply to your other question about the Border Track. So here's the answer: The southbound one way section is 30 km - from the northern border of Ngarkat Conservation Park to Centre Track. It is subject to seasonal closures (and COVID closures). The total of what most people call the Border Track is about 80 km.

      directly south of Murrayville mate, then a little bit east of the main Rd.
