First off dude use the locus don't use the dbsr it's garbage then just go on custom games and practice on bots so u don't ruin your kd that's what I had to do now I can snipe awesome

I love sniping on bo3 I use a lot of the svg 100 with a thermal
Ali-A the loces is by far the best sniper . it has barly any hitmarkers

a tip from me is to aim at them and shoot, not to aim beside them and be like "WHAT HOWD THAT NOT HIT"
Cross hair placement should be in areas where you expect heads to be rather than trying to flick shot with a controller

Secondary - L -CAR 9 (more like DBSR - 50)
On the DSR to get a 1 shot kill u need to shoot from the chest upwards.

stand still when sniping, it helps so much
What I did to get fairly good was just have 1v1s with my friends quick scoping so it's quite competitive like online and you still get to practice your shot and get used to all the jumping people do whilst your using a sniper

Who remembers when Ali got a couple of kills w the Og DSR on raid in bo2 and now he's using the New DSR on the same but remastered map...I miss bo2 in its prime man 😜😭

The only tip I can give you to become a better sniper in BO3 is to just practise often.

hey Ali-A, I'm not saying I'm good at sniping but I'm pretty decent. What helped me was the video of Faze Spratt 'how to snipe in bo3'. Also, he highlights how centering is key. And the best way to do it is in objector games in bo3. Like I started in safeguard, I played with regular guns when I was defending and when my team had to cap the bot, I started using the sniper. it is much easier and you will see the difference. Then when you feel confident enough go to dom or tdm.
When you are sniping, you want to get to the edge of the map and find high ground and so that you don't have to cover your back, try to get a buddy to come with you to block the enemy from sneak attacking you while your sniping
i would recommend using the locus to start out. much better than the gun you just used. once you get used to it move to the svg.

the drakon is basically an overpowered sniper. you can hip fire just like you do with a pistol.

its hard but once you get it, its the ultimate way to snipe, feels better and is easier

I'm horrible at sniping on almost every game so i just stick to ether useing any fast shooting guns like smgs or use a sniper and hide in a corner and shot them when they come in the room if they don't see me and kill me. :)
I have had 20 deaths and 1 kill with a sniper. Compared to me and you Ali-A, you are way better than me.
The P-06 Sniper Rifle is the best I've used plus the most damaging.

to get better you should put 11 bots on veteran difficulty and make it preset classes (snipers only) and race them to 20-25 points
tip: try to put on thermal sights on. ur snipers
Recommended snipers: Locus or SVG-100
