We had a lot of fun this week! GGG invited us to Los Angeles to play Path of Exile 2! We play-tested all of the new additions that they've added and they were keen to get feedback on it! We had an amazing time both with the event itself and meeting so many members of the community. There's so much info to discuss that we're going to have to split it up into at least two episodes! Couch co-op, controller, quality of life, informative UI, gameplay, customization...there's so much to cover and not enough time! Thanks, GGG, for the invitation and your generosity! We had a great time!

Can you tell us, how aiming is implemented? Is it like snap on mechanic where once you focused an enemy it sticks to it or do you constantly have to move with right stick? Did you play with pro controllers?
What was the experience like for you, using twin stick plus so many skills simultaneously
Aiming was surprisingly really good. If you don't use the right stick it uses a smart aim which worked really well when I played the warrior. When I played ranger I used the right stick as often I was trying to aim towards something further away. It doesn't tend to just lock in to a target but the way aiming worked felt really good and I'm not a controller player at all, I've always play keyboard/mouse with poe. I'll definitely be leaning towards controller though with poe 2
@@ForeverExiled thank you that's nice to hear! I was wondering if you need a pro controller with back buttons because you constantly have to aim AND use skills, so no time to take thumbs off of right stick. But seems like the found good balance.
I mentioned to Tyler how surprised I was that I barely used the right stick the aiming was so good. At least while playing the warrior

Why do the characters look like they've been bathing in mud?
Well I mean they were just cut down from the gallows? 😂 For real though, the image is overall desaturated. It's drove me crazy all day yesterday getting our footage in line for next week. All the footage was recording on the ps5 in webm format and for some reason when it's encoded the image is coming out super desaturated. It doesn't actually look like this in person. For us I wish I had just recorded in 1080 mp4 format, but you live and learn.

so many poe 2 videos i dont care about. what i DO care about is seeing any sign that my MASS MURDER SIMULATOR poe will be alive and well when 2 releases. all ive seen so far is slow, lame fighting. i wanna see juiced maps and skills that look like they will rip my screen in half :
Trying to figure out if you're saying the episode we talk about poe 2 is something you don't care about, but are commenting about, or just in general all the poe 2 content we've had from ggg? For us playing, we had access to act 1 and 2, not going to see much craziness and zoom from that.
But we're on opposite sides of the table I think. We really enjoyed the speed while we played. No clue what end game will look like, we'll just have to wait and see
@@ForeverExiled that wasnt explicity directed at your video. my youtube feed gets flooded with poe2 videos and im just getting frustrated with ggg´s vision. i see them nerfing poe1 more and more, making one build after another unplayable and then i see how slow poe2 looks. the guy in charge has no clue about poe1 but has the arrogance to claim to know exactly what the game needs.
and then i see so many idiots losing their shit over couch coop.... thats nothing new. have those guys never done a lan party? only difference, in a lan party everyone has their own screen. couch coop is the inferior version of that. you have to stick close to one another at all times.
im just worried my mass murder simulator which ive played for years is gonna die just cause some dudes with no clue got a vision that they want "meaningful fights".... if i want meaningful fights, i dont play poe. i play games like dragons dogma where i got a real 3 dimensional game, not this pseudo 3d. so whenever youtube thinks it needs to put another poe2 video in front of me where i see people losing their shit over footage that looks just slow and boring, i give my opinion.

Hopefully you find what you're looking for. For us the couch co op was awesome, fun and a little nostalgic. Whether we ever use it who know but it also wasn't the only thing being shown it was console but even better was how controller support would work and it was impressive. The game was a blast to play. I would suggest not being pessimistic before getting a chance to play it. Then decide if it's your thing or not
I hear what you mean. I'm really curious what endgame will be like as well as they've stated that Path 2 shouldn't lose its endgame pace compared to Path 1. But I think the answers will only come with Beta in November.
Beta is set for november, 3.25 is end of july, if they then do an actual 3 month league that will mean that 3.26 is mid october/end of october. So poe 2 beta 22nd or 29th of november?
Exciting upcoming months! I've heard exciting news for 3.25 so I'm pumped for it
The 3/4 month cycle is funny, but no matter what it ends up being, I can't wait!
