I remember when this movie come out. So many people said it was glorified inner city violence. Now it’s a classic.
But they never said anything about what Wesley Snipes talked about in the end the cause of all the wrongdoings black ppl have to deal with.

I just watched this movie last night on Tubi. Last time I saw it was shortly after it came out and bought the soundtrack. Some of those shots must have been very difficult to set up like Chris Rock going down those stairs in the beginning of the movie with Ice T chasing him. The entire cast all went on to very successful careers. Directed by Mario Van Peebles too. I liked the message at the very end of the credits and am glad I was able to give it all up. Heartbreaking the part drugs play ruining the lives of too many.
Wesley Snipes said where are the drugs&guns coming from that enter black neighborhoods????

I had no idea that old was gonna shoot Nino brown for all the crimes he's committed, for killing his mom who was a teacher and killing pokie when the white guy grinded I could tell that Ice t was happy that justice was served and he gotten his revenge.
Wesley plays a great bad guy and was great in NJC.
@moonwork742 yeah yet he was evil and manipulative to others to get what he wanted,he was a original gangsta where as there were funny moments of him though.
@@moonwork742 Kool Moe Dee was originally asked to play the role of NINO BROWN but he didn't want to be seen as a drug dealer by young people in the '90s.

Martin Lawrence was originally asked to play in this film but he turned down the role of POOKIE also the woman Phyllis Evonne Stickney who played the prosecutor was originally asked to play POOKIE as well but they got her to be the aforementioned prosecutor instead.
