that's why I fell in love with this franchise. I've never seen any other sci-fi show or movie where nature plays the main role. It's always stuff like Star Wars or Star Trek and that kind of stuff never interested me. I love nature documentaries, have been watching them since I was a little kid and since I've first watched the first Avatar movie the biological aspect of it being so prominent in the story really captured my attention. My favourite movie is Princess Mononoke and I've been looking for ages for something that's at least somewhat close to it, and Avatar fits the bill.
Im really Happy about the new informations about the Makgwan clan (i Hope its correct how i wrote It). The principal problem of the Na'vi its that they lived in a perfect Place, perfect morality in a perfect stagnation. Of course we have seen some prejudice from them towards other Clans or innocent humans but The fact that the Ashen Na'vi, After the Volcaniv explosion that nearly erased them, started tò hate eywa in all his forms and out of pettines could start tò work with RDA Just tò torment the eywa-faithful Na'vis its great, since It would be the First clan tò be innovative and create technology
So looking at the new airborne creature, obviously it’s bond is with Varang, and it looks to be chiroptera. Which is a Ikran like creature, though smaller. It was introduced in the avatar frontiers of pandora secrets of the spires DLC. It’s completely blind and uses echolocation to find food. For offense it transforms echolocation into a giant sonic boom that will send a Na’Vi flying back a few feet. They often are found in packs of at least 3, the leader, known as the Elder, is the largest of the group. In the game it’s the same size but clearly here, it can grow to sizes of ikran and maybe Toruk Makto. So obviously looking at the size. Varang has bonded with a chiroptera Elder
No, I don’t think it’s a chiroptera. I played the DLC yesterday and was having fun looking at the models; chiroptera don’t seem to have eyes, and they have overlarge ears as well as being more purple in color. They seem closer to the riti (I forgot the English name for it).
@ it probably isn’t I’m just theorizing. Both seem to have similar attributes but the sonic boom I don’t think this new creature has like the Chiroptera does. I believe this creature was in fact introduced in the very first Avatar Movie. When Jake, Grace, and Norm were on there way to extract samples from pandora soil, I think this creature was seen, (it’s the scene where Trudy was giving them a ride to the site, just before Jake had the run in with the Thanator and the Hammerhead Titanothere)
Yes those are most likely chiroptera, which is what I’m assuming the new flying creature of Varang’s is. Those are the smaller ones. The bigger ones are known as Elders, which is what Varang, the leader of the ash people has bonded with
@@mrchicky1314 yes Varang is most likely bonded with a Chiroptera elder, which kinglor I believe flying around them, Chiroptera elders are only found in nests. The movie could portray a size difference for Chiroptera elders
@@mrchicky1314 look at the eyes, that could mean it’s completely blind. It could also be the eyes that of a fly so the Chiroptera theory could be wrong but the eyes look to be that of blindness
Very cool creatures. Makes sense that creatures in hotter place developed to fly more as the ground is probably hot? I really hope this movie has a different story arch than the second… and maybe less New human characters 😑 Noticed there were some creatures shown in the intro 0:24 that weren’t covered, would like to see/hear more about them 🔥
So at this point they are actually going with the vaguely Avatar Elemental type movies. Except nature, im not disappointed just strangley confused on why there going this rout.
Right? I’m intrigued. I just hope the story isn’t another rerun of the first with less decent acting, like The Shape of Water… visually stunning, sound design too, but the acting, dialogue and delivery were sub-par compared to the first movie. Really hope they do Better this time around
Alright so My Chiroptera theory doesn’t add up but I have found a new one. I believe this creature was introduced in the very first Avatar movie. When Trudy was giving Jake, Norm, and Grace a ride to a research area to extract samples of pandora soil, there was a weird creature seen flying in the sky, a creature that looks exactly like this but smaller. The scene I’m talking about is just before Jake was chased by the Thanator. So parts of my previous Chiroptera theory could be correct. The creature that Varang bonded with could be an alpha to the smaller creature seen in the first movie
My favorite part of the franchise: Pandora's wildlife
For me it's Pandora as a whole from what I have seen so far it looks like heaven !

In Super excited for this one. I love how Varang design looks
wake me up when there is some concept art for any new RDA vehicles
You missed the bat like creatures in one of the concept pictures!

@ In the new dlc for the avatar game there are chiroptera which are very bat like but look nothing like varangs mount

the only new animals here is:
Kite Manta because Medusa was described in one of the Avatar books
Kite Manta really ain’t that new either since it’s in the game
Do make Jurassic World 4 Rebirth all Dinosaurs list please next!!
Tell to make SH Figuarts James Cameron's Avatar
The Medusas are the same idea as Silt Striders from The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

These creatures will not be purged, humans will purged who steal and kill these creatures.
What about the legendary Great Leonopteryx?
Was mentioned, just used a different name/descriptor 5:50 😁
@ So the Great Leonopteryx will return in the future Avatar movies?
