I know Yu Narukami is a full talking character in the anime and Arena, but that's probably because the fans protested that they wanted RIse playable, so she couldn't act as Yu's mouthpiece. As for Joker, on the other hand, I hope he'll speak in Arena and the anime, but I think that Atlus won't give him a personality in the anime and Arena, and Jun Fukuyama will probably only voice grunts. As for his lines in the game, they're spoken by other characters in the manga and will be spoken by other characters in the anime.

As for the interrogation, jokers phone was set up to activate the metaverse nav upon Akechi seeing it, this is what I assume allowed joker to use his cognition of the gun Akechi used as being fake, and therefore harmless, though that is just speculation on my part.

In the Madarame arc, there are three cutscenes and oly one is anime based. In the Kaneshiro arc, there are two cutscenes and zero are anime based. I don't know if its just me, but I am not a fan of some of the 3d models for the characters. Its worse in the cutscenes because the faces kinda look weird compared to glorious 2d anime cutscenes. I like the UI and how stylish it is, but the 3d models are meh for me.
I love seeing Morgana jump to the front of the line when everyone is escaping Kamoshida's Palace. He's a cute character and I liked him a whole lot more than I thought I would, he's more than just a mascot character, he was super helpful and I loved him to pieces

The reason people hate Akechi is not because he betrays you, it’s because he is a psychopath who is responsible for murdering multiple people for self-gain as a “detective”, to defame the Phantom Theives’ name and to earn his father’s affection. Unlike the protagonist, he succumbed to his struggles and used his powers for evil. I don’t hate him but I understand why people do. He is the yin to the protagonist’s yang.
Good thing the officer and Akira don't die! When Sae shows Goro the phone they enter the metaverse. So Goro killed the replica of Akira which had no impact on the Akira sitting alone in the interrogation room!

My tv was messed up when I played the game, and for some weird reason, the voice overs for the animated cutscenes were almost always barely audible and without subtitles I could hardly hear a thing. The reason people hate Akechi is not because he betrays you, it’s because he is a psychopath who is responsible for murdering multiple people for self-gain as a “detective”, to defame the Phantom Theives’ name and to earn his father’s affection. Unlike the protagonist, he succumbed to his struggles and used his powers for evil. I don’t hate him but I understand why people do. He is the yin to the protagonist’s yang.

All these people talking about how they ship ann and the protag... I personally found Morgana's crush on Ann to be the most pure crush and I sincerely hoped throughout the game that they could find a way for it to work out.
It's really interesting how top heavy the cutscenes are. I guess they planned to have loads of animated cutscenes throughout but ran out of resources.

I absolutely love this game franchise
thank you so much for this. My tv was messed up when I played the game, and for some weird reason, the voice overs for the animated cutscenes were almost always barely audible and without subtitles I could hardly hear a thing. I could get the gist, but it was frustrating at times with all the little bits I'd missed and the presentation.
