You’ll be happy to know this just reopened as a new Dairy Queen last week! And Taco Bueno just opened next door - now that all the construction ended, restaurants are back.
And this is most recent design Dairy Queen had. I remember the walk up version when I was a kid in Minnesota which Rochester, Minnesota still has the original version which of course closed in winter & open spring through fall. Dairy Queen is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thank you for sharing!
We used to have Jack In The Box in Lubbock. Maybe I need to do a video of the Dairy Queen which closed in a small town where my parents live here in West Texas which was built in the 70's which was fairly new when we moved to Texas in early 80's from Minnesota.
The Dariy Queen was off the main street of 377 right behind Dariy Queen was the benbrook roller rink and next to Dairy Queen was a Laundry Mat and a convenient store and across the street from the convenience store was a nursing home.
Its sad that may have been one of the handfull of new ones that recently open and had to close because of a lawsuit, about 20 years ago there where DQs on every corner in the dfw area but for some reason most had closed and as soon as they start a comeback in the area the law suit happen, i still cry seeing the brand new ones right by me still abandoned in north fw :(
I love Taco Villa! It was one of my go-to places when I lived in West Texas--and I still have to go there when I go back to visit! It's too bad they didn't do very well in DFW. Taco Villa is from the same parent company as Rosa's, which I've heard you mention on other Texas videos.
Your TH-cam channel rocks! We have a Dairy Queen here in Weirton,WV on Three Springs Drive. I really like their chili dogs and ice cream. I had chili dogs and fries from Dairy Queen for lunch today and a chocolate sundae.
Dairy Queen? More like the Dairy Bin! OOF! That Toilet reminds me of the one I saw at a hotel I filmed... At least your toilet still is in fairly mint condition! XD LMFAO
Your ice cream would have melted by time you made it back to the car anyway, lol. Now that you say about not seeing many Dairy Queens close up, not so sure I have ever seen any close up.
Hi I’m from the future, I went to Dairy Queen today and guess what?? it’s permanently closed! After being open for several years. This location specifically.
I grew up eating taco villa. Even worked at one for 3 years while going to school at Tech. I ate at this location a few times. Sucks it closed. Too many dang fast food burrito places on that street. The jack in the box is currently being redone. Not sure what it’s going to be? It’s red and white so hoping not KFC.
I believe we used to have multiple Dairy Queen restaurants in my city but they all closed and for years we didn't have any until 2017-2018 when one finally opened

Nice! I'll have to support them! We'll be back in town in a few weeks!
And chipotle ooened

@@WinDogeFromTH-cam I was born in Mankato 53 years ago this past February. I miss the north.

I've heard of going behind a bush but that toilet gives new meaning to it
Is That What They Mean By "Outhouse?"😂😂😂 Get It? The Toilet Is Outside!😂

Good video! I haven't seen too many Dairy Queens closing up in my area yet! That thing in the bush had me laughing out loud! Funny!
The toilet outside in the bushes gives new meaning to the term "outhouse"! 😂😂😂😂😂
Or "Use The Bush As A Toilet?"
The Dariy Queen was off the main street of 377 right behind Dariy Queen was the benbrook roller rink and next to Dairy Queen was a Laundry Mat and a convenient store and across the street from the convenience store was a nursing home.
That toilet was epic! I can see Nate joking about it with you lol.
We have some viable dq's in my neck of the woods (western pa), but there are mom and pop joints with tastier ice cream. Be safe wallie and Kayla.
A toilet in the bush? That is the best thing I've seen all day hehe! XD
That Toilet In The Bush Made Me Laugh!
We live in Hurst. The story was the franchisee went bankrupt and he had to close his restaurants.
Its sad that may have been one of the handfull of new ones that recently open and had to close because of a lawsuit, about 20 years ago there where DQs on every corner in the dfw area but for some reason most had closed and as soon as they start a comeback in the area the law suit happen, i still cry seeing the brand new ones right by me still abandoned in north fw :(
Great news, that new one by me that closed is reopening!! :)
Ha! This same Dairy Queen just reopened with a new owner. Come back and visit again sometime 😉
Great video
Wallie, really enjoyed your awesome abandoned DQ video!
Where I live,we used to have a DQ and love their food. It closed down and now it's a gas station in the place of DQ.
All the Dairy Queens near me have all permantly closed also.
Looks nice and clean inside it's rather small for a DQ
Yes Taco Villa as in Bob Villa !!!!!
I love Taco Villa! It was one of my go-to places when I lived in West Texas--and I still have to go there when I go back to visit! It's too bad they didn't do very well in DFW.

Just when you need some ice cream and the place is closed. Dang it. Now that is first tossed out toilet.
That toilet in the bush 😂 awesome video bro 👍
Awesome video
Wallie you have that Pittsburgh tan😆
There's a little abandoned DQ in Marionville, MO which looked like it shut it's doors from Covid or something.
dq the best icecream
Your ice cream would have melted by time you made it back to the car anyway, lol. Now that you say about not seeing many Dairy Queens close up, not so sure I have ever seen any close up.
I was gonna make a joke about ice cream tacos, but those actually exist and they are awesome.
4:03 Best Funniest moment on the Channel 😂
Using Google Maps, this location closed early-mid 2019.
A toilet in the bush is worth a shit in the brush! LOL
Could have done a double abandon with that jack in the box, what a missed opportunity.
We have two dairy queen 's in cedar city utah hi wallieb26 I like your video of dairy queen.
What I love Jack in the box. Lol crappy that Ohio don’t have more then the two in Cincinnati
Can you do a video of an abandoned sonic drive in north York street muskogee OK (btw if you see one keep going cause there is another that closed up

Well, you know what they say, a toilet in the bush is worth two in the Dairy Queen...
We have tons of DQ's here in Southeast Texas
You would think the discarded toilet would be in the DUMPster area and not in the bush! 🚽💩
I thought i had seen it all, but nope. A toilet in a bush, that's a first. Must've been a long haul for whoever did that.
Down the street from where I live..
Well the bush had to go! So sir we took the toilet out there!
They have four abandoned Dairy Qeens in my area
Ice cream is good anytime
That bush is a great place for a toilet
I used to work there
I've only had DQ food like twice. It's...meh! Ice cream and Blizzards are what they do best.
DQ the nearest location to me is like 50 miles away
I believe we used to have multiple Dairy Queen restaurants in my city but they all closed and for years we didn't have any until 2017-2018 when one finally opened
Dammit Vasari
DQ close all the time bc the hot food stinks and the quality of the ice cream has gone down hill
Someone deck the halls with a toilet
Today in 2023 it reopened
Dairy no queen today
No ice cream, no beach and pair of fried soles what is a person supposed to do?
A dump and go 😂😆🤣😂
That is funny
Look wallies beard fell off
Panda Express anyone?
