In case someone fails to get the Dragon Relic by the minute: 5:01, I suggest using the Special Attack (Triangle) of Fire when you are close enough to reach it! ;-)

Having only played the first two games recently (and will soon be giving the third a try), I too would like to see a remaster. Sure, as somebody stated, you can just go back and play the originals, but while I can't speak for the third, the first two games definitely have certain quirks that could be improved upon.
I hope future Spyro games keep the more serious and epic tones like in The Eternal Night, as well as keep features like artworks and lore whenever you find collectibles. Also, the music just slaps so hard back then

Really nice to see that people are not just hating this game. It's really beautiful trilogy and I hope too It will get remastered or remake. If people show more love fore the game maybe it will get someday. But I have to say my favorite Spyro is Hero's tail I really hope remake for that and that they remove or change Blink caracter that is only bad thing in the game maybe to Shela or completely new caracter. It could be female cuz there is zero playable female caracters(Ember is not included cuz she's just skin)

for underground grove relic make sure to do fire dash for the branches you can not reach with glide
As somebody who's playing through this trilogy for the first time, this is much appreciated. Normally, I would more than likely put in the time and effort to find everything myself thanks to the New Game + feature, but given that I've already beaten the game having found almost everything on my own (on my first run, I only missed one green relic, and five quills), I rather just get it completed on my second run nice and quick so I can move on to the third game.

finding these collectables really show there was a bit more platforming in this game than what people give credit too.
This looks so great! On my PS2 it's really dark and murky, probably because I'm using an AV connection on an HD TV or something. What version are you playing this on? Is this emulated?
I played as an emulator, however you might need to change your TV settings to see the game more clearly, maybe that way you could play it better! 🙂
Salve, ottimo video e la clip finale a dir poco pazzesca. Ma c'è un'altra cosa che nn si sa nel gioco di Spyro: esattamente nella fortezza montana, prima di entrare nella sala grande dove c'è l'enorme statua del maestro delle ombre, c'è tutta una salita di rocce in verticale dove successivamente c'è l'animazione dove ti porta nella stanza grande e ti fa la panoramica di tutta la stanza. Ci sono due rocce con la texture di quelle che si possono salire sopra, ma sono irraggiungibili. Ho provato molte volte a vedere se c'era qualche metodo ma nulla da fare. Lei sa se c'è la possibilità di arrivare fino a quel punto?
Aaaaahhhh, sì! Ricordo benissimo quel pezzo che mi hai appena descritto. Anche io ero convinta che si potesse salire per andare in qualche stanza segreta, ma un muro invisibile impedisce l'accesso al piano di sopra. Purtroppo neanche io so con certezza sul perché siano stati inseriti. Posso solo dedurre che poteva esserci un contenuto previsto in fase di sviluppo ma che, con i tempi ristretti, sia stato rimosso dal gioco finale. Purtroppo tutta la saga di The Legend of Spyro soffre di queste mancanze. Per esempio, in A New Beginning, potevano esserci missioni secondarie come nel cercare nella palude l'armatura di Ignitus (lasciate nel gioco finale ma non si può interagire).

@@MartinVale Purtroppo ho forti dubbi che Activision possa fare dei remake di questo gioco. Anche se ha la sua fetta di fan, ma hanno puntato tutto sul lato nostalgico della trilogia Ps1 e, secondo me, continueranno a farlo per farci uscire un 4.
Io posso solo sperare che possa essere rifatto per bene o in un film, perché merita molto.

Is there a certain technique to get the relic in the underground cove? I've been trying to get that one for almost an hour!
Unfortunately you only need luck to be able to catch it, I tried at least 20 times before getting it.
It's the reason I searched for this video I can't get it
When you beat the game and do all 5 Dragon Challenges, you unlock Convexity breath. For some reason, if you switch over to ice and then to convexity, you can do the secondary move over and over and basically fly where ever you want. I'm not sure why it works like that or why it only works when switching over from ice, but it can make a LOT of things much easier and you can basically skip around some of the platforming sections. Its a good way to get to that relic (if you're talking about the one with the jellyfish). Still have to be careful of course (also I know you posted this like a year or so ago but idk how well known this info is so I thought I'd share just in case lol)

I have this game for more than 10 years and did it so many times without being able to get this relic and I never figure that you could fly with this trick of the black dragon, thanks to you I finally get this last red relic after HOURS of trying. I didnt even needed to change to ice, simply by repeating the second move of the Black dragon over and over, it makes me fly without falling.
@@hagakure1013 Huh that's interesting. I always have to switch to convexity from ice specifically in order to get it let me repeatedly use the move over and over since it doesn't work with any other way for me. Maybe it just depends on the version of the game?? Either way tho you're welcome! I discovered this trick completely by accident when I was a teen and have been using it ever since xD
