Great story, total respect to those men
Regular dudes doing their job. As I listen to the description of these events it seems like a training mission. Calm and determined to get a fellow American out of harms way. As a navy vet who was in a fighter squadron during Vietnam it makes me proud of these guys. The let’s do this attitude is great. Both sons becoming Navy aviators is a nice ending.

Great story. Well done. One nitpick: The film shows a horse collar rescue device, not a jungle penetrator. The penetrator is heavy steel that drops through thick jungle tree canopies, with three fold-out "seats" and a wrap-around seat belt, which Vizcarra never snapped shut. He had to hang on for dear life as they flew out of North Vietnam.

I know the Kaman H2’s. Spent my time on the east coast assigned to HC4 later re-designated to HSL 30 in Lakehurst NJ and later to Norfolk Va. Kaman built a pretty robust helo.
Awesome guys like our IAF Pilot's without any chance of rescue but America had a fantastic rescue system
