This really inspired me. I’m a professional ballerina and I feel passionate about bringing ballet to everyone and create performances for rural areas. I am currently working tirelessly as a waitress to create enough funds to launch my own company whilst creating my own repertoire and performing “gigs” for exposure but also to build funds
Please share your info when you get the chance. I love ballet and just started lessons myself this year in my late thirties, I've always loved the art and would attend shows. I'd love to help and support you in this endeavor in any way I can.
You will be an inspiration yourself if you accomplish this goal! (And you will!) Your impact will be amazing! Most everyday people have never even seen ballet except on tv - if that!
Ballet is expensive to learn, and its very rare to get a pro gig. Once you go pro, you still don't get paid a ton. It's literally a struggle. I love that she's bringing it to the streets for many reasons! One; many can see it Two; it makes classics arts "attainable" Three; buskers can make more than pro ballet dancers
This struggle is the same for black women in general especially in the art world. Pay your whole life and yet the jobs are few if any and in part due to discrimination and parts stereotyped! Should be nothing to do with tradition which keeps things the same, no change and not inclusive! In today’s society should be about talent.
She is stunning. You meant "pro buskers" can make more than "pro ticketed" ? Because she isn't just any busker, she is a beautiful pro, pro, pro busker
As a ballet dancer myself I find it heartbreaking to hear that some people don't get the chance to see ballet live due to the cost of tickets. I love that she is able to bring ballet to everyone and I love seeing the faces of the kids light up when they see her.
It is important to the people who love it, as participants in any role, as witnessed by the reactions of the people watching this brave, positive, talented and altruistic woman, taking her art to and interacting selflessly with the passersby in the street, bringing joy to so many people's lives. I wish her good luck, health and joy in all she does. ❤
I've danced on the street before and got nothing but positive responses. Thumbs up or a comment like that was really good choreography. People are just hungry for something beautiful and inspiring to take away their problems even for just a few moments.
What I love the most in this story is that she didn't wait for flitting opportunities to come to her. She created her own. And by such, not only does she inspire thousands of others, but she also creates conversations. I hope others will join her and create a company. Well done! And also on 5he importance on having the rigth people surrounding you who gives you positive advice ❤
The majority of people watching her have no idea as to what she has put into this ballet dancing and she is giving them a lifetime (so far) of her hard work for free. Now this is someone who really loves what they do and the money is secondary, if that.
My friend once told me she wanted to see a ballet at least once. She was about to leave for one year to Australia after high school and I found there was a ballet performance at a small culture center. I believe they were junior dancers of a Russian school. It was very last minute, so I asked my friend if she was free and if we could see each other. There were some tickets left and I managed to buy two tickets seated together. On the day, I surprised her with the tickets as an early birthday present before she left. She was so happy. We bith enjoyed the performance. I also really appreciated the opportunity to watch a ballet performance without financially ruining myself in the process.
Thank you for posting this. What an incredible thing to do. Yes, getting "jobs" in ballet companies is incredibly difficult so this is a marvellous way to dance. The fact that people come face to face with it and see it for being something real and vital and a valid form of expression is an added bonus. Bianca is a beautiful soul and a beautiful dancer. Best of luck to her!
Ballet is one of the most beautiful expressions imo..you tell a story using your body with grace, every part of your body is used in such an artful and precise way,,,beautiful ❤
I saw her busking on the streets today in Australia. She was incredibly good and had very good interactions with the crowd too. It was a honour to see her, and I was really enjoying it. Thank you Bianca 👏
As a person who has all my life lived on a tight budget and only dreams of being able to see a ballet performance watching you brought joy to my heart for the gift you gave me with your performance. Thank You
All those little girls that have not yet been able to join a class and all those mums and dad's that dreamt but it was never possible( including myself). This is beautiful to watch❤
It’s so rare for people to see an actual ballet performance up close. You can really appreciate the work and the art. Former busker myself. ( not ballet though)
Aww, I was so happy to hear those words. Seeing art is not accessible to anyone and just seeing her graceful art on the streets accessible to anyone is just so.. it makes me feel such joy
My dream body is to be beautiful and strong like a ballet dancer. When I was a child, I dreamed of being a ballet dancer but I didn't achieve what I dreamed of because I was born and grew in a far away farm. Now that I'm retirement, I have a beautiful, strong body like a ballerina,I'm a boxing trainer.
Thats beautiful. I watch something ballet, some little bit, every single day on Utube because it really is wonderful. Today I watched you, how beautiful on many levels because other people really liked to stop and watch. I would definitely stop and watch - to appreciate the very hard work you do.
This is wonderful. What a beautiful lady and dancer. As someone who has had RAD training, and also seen many performances over the years, I know how hard and physically demanding this is. I could stand and watch this all day - and would given the opportunity! Keep doing what you're doing - it's enchanting. 🤩
As someone who grew up in ballet, once I was texting a friend about going back on pointe, and he thought “pointe” was the name of a studio 😆 he didn’t even know what the shoes were, I had to send him a pic! And that moment completely shocked me, as I realized that a lot of ppl rly have never actually been exposed to real ballet before. To see all the surprised and captivated faces of the crowd watching her, it’s rly reminding me not to take dance for granted & I’m soooo happy she’s spreading it to the public

@@Jude74 You seem to be having trouble distinguishing ballet from the existence of all human creativity. That's not going to be a way for you to shoehorn ballet into importance, and it's not important. The narrative here is that people are increasing their well-being by having an opportunity to be exposed to something they cannot afford. But no one needs to be exposed to it. It's just something interesting to see while walking in the street. No one's life is changing and ballet has hurt a lot of people as well. Society might be better off without it.
I saw Bianca in town the other day, I love ballet and thought she was on her way to work at the Opera House though curious why she was already costumed. I will keep a look out next time I'm in town, I'd love to see her dancing. Thank you for bringing beauty to the streets of Sydney Bianca, the world needs more of this right now
Absolutely marvelous…when I was a kid, I would have LOVED to watch someone do what you are so incredibly good at. I adore the ballet and you are brilliant. I think the ballet world lost a great! But now so many others can marvel at your talents and grace….loved the swan at the end….better than any Swan Lake I’ve seen!

This is extraordinary… Such an elegant dancer performing for people who would probably never ever see a most amazing performance from one of the best ballet dancers in the world. Thank you for sharing your gift.❤😊

this is so cool because a lot of art, performance especially, is elitist. the common people dont have the luxury to see plays, ballet, or even go to museums. everything is paywalled these days and its killing art.
There is a small theater that is absolutely beautiful in the town that I live in that does one or two ballets a year that are actually really good and thickets are super affordable. My mom used to do ballet so we always go together. 😊
I’m taking two of my younger granddaughters to see the ballet and our local theater afford to go. What a shame.
