The Boti region is located about 40 km from the district city of South Central Timor, So'e
Administratively, it is now Boti village, Kie sub-district.
The Boti tribe is believed to be the oldest tribe on Timor Island, East Nusa Tenggara.
The Boti tribe still adheres to animism, which is usually called Halaika.
The people of Boti worship the natural ruler of the world or Uis Pah and the ruler of the universe who is usually called Uis Neno.
It is not surprising that the preservation of the traditions and culture of the Boti tribe, believed to be the oldest tribe on the island of Timor,
which still exists today.
