ABOUT FORT SOLIS:
Responding to an unusual alarm call from a remote mining base, Jack arrives at the dark and desolate Fort Solis. With storm warnings imminent, he heads inside to make desperate contact.
As the night grows longer, events escalate, spiral out of control and the mystery of what happened to the crew begins to reveal itself. The storms is approaching, limiting Jack’s escape as he looks to hold out until morning arrives. - เกม
the dialogue in this game is probably some of the most impressive i’ve seen and it flows so well
Couldn't have said it better, it really does draw you into the game with the characters personality and the body language they implemented!
The only thing is how fast they respond to each other over the radio. Could be asking a question that would take at least a few seconds to answer even if the information is right in front of you but they still instantly respond to each other a lot. Like they are speed reading through a script almost. Could have done with a few pauses or the sort of weird idiosyncrasies we all, or most of us anyway, tend to have. Still great chemistry and all the characters are interesting in their own way, very well written for a game

This game is absolutely insane, as soon as you're allowed to post chapter 4 we are all waiting patient, as soon as I saw chapter 1 I was hooked. These creators outdid themselves, we need more!!! 😂

The few I read about was a complain about the game not getting good frames or they think it was too short.
pretty sure when more chapters is out the reviews will get better.
I don't have the game but can't this game setting lowered? though I bet it will be defeating a purpose to play cinematic games if you play it with low res 😅

5:00 laughing as a stress response isn't unusual Fooster. Staying in character, Jess's adrenaline spiked when she heard Jack being startled, and was immediately relieved when it wasn't anything serious. So the laugh is more like her saying "Thank Goodness nothing Bad just happened."
No joke this is probably Troy Baker’s best work…He keeps getting better and better. That first scene with him and Jessica had me shaking in my boots

Agreed, he is extraordinarily talented and getting better. What a genius at portraying pathological narcissism gone off the rails into psychopathy! The nuance in the character’s build-up is remarkable. Of course, the character is also extremely well written, remarkably so for the medium. Even when Wyatt says that he talked to his daughter about her studies and she is following in his footsteps - something that makes him a little more likable and where his pride should be understandable - you can still hear the unhealthy narcissistic charge through the sadness of not being able to be with his family. Even in what might be his most sympathetic statement, “Being a proud parent is the best medicine ….” he manages to get that narcissism in there.
It always boggles my mind that voice actors are able to create that kind of effect sitting alone in a recording studio booth knocking it out line by line.
Loving this series - voice acting is amazing! Just wanted to also point out that 38:04 is also extra creepy because Jess not only knew/heard that Jack was attacked by someone, but he also told her at 21:53 that he found Nick's body in one of the storage sheds. Super creepy for her to see a random guy appear in a dead guy's suit, but smart of her to ask him who he is to see what he says... if he gave a different name but had an explanation (i.e. I'm Bob but my suit was damaged and this was the suit that fit/Nick is missing/has extra/lent me his....etc.) then it would be fine, but she wanted to see if he would lie. The fact he did means he most likely killed Nick and she should book it ASAP... clever lady!
correct me if i am wrong but at 21:53 the name called toat, its just Fooster thought it was Nick but its Toat.

The devs did a fantastic job with the dialogue but also the body language. They really captured the body language well. For example,. when Jess first encounters Wyatt, the feeling of tension and unease was detectable in their body language alone and I think that is such an important aspect for games like this because it adds so much flavour to the interactions and enriches the experience several times over.
While we're on the subject of visual details, the world building is A class. So many little details that would likely go overlooked by the regular player but to those who like to investigate and appreciate, you can really see how much work they put into things. Like the personal quarters of each crew member not only has relevant items to them on a personal level but also on a professional one. The facility feels lived in and thats so important not just for a game of this genre but any game, I feel. You want the world to feel believable.

Does anyone ever remember being a kid and renting movies? Before you started watching, you had to get ready for it such as popping some popcorn. This is how I feel when I watch Fooster. I have to get a pinch of Red Seal, sit back, relax, and curl up to watching these videos!!!

I love this animation, the voice acting, heck I especially love the voice logs and recordings they added in! It brings in so much depth. Please continue Fooster!
The plot reminds me of Doom3. Mars, power shortages, people getting sick and going missing, somebody is excavating something, constant reading and listening to PDA-s.
The dialogue, voice-acting and the facial animations in the videos are just superb. The latter are the best I have seen in any video-game.

This game blows me away. Such a unique style with it third person and there’s no running (yet?). You go exploring around and uncover the mystery.
The intrigue about this game is so addicting. The story is great and the graphics and interactions are next-level.

As things often falling down when I got near them when they are perfectly balanced on shelf or on tables, or even just putting things on something they often fall down.

@Fooster I enjoy watching you play these rather vicariously... rather than playing it myself. I'd get too impatient with QTEs etc.!...but when you narrate alongside?....makes it awesome! The mo-cap full body, and facial acting, lighting, and granular visual detail of these engines is getting more, and more lifelike in these story-led games... that immerses us better than movies nowadays! Keep up the good work!

Side note although the dialogue is amazing and the way in which it flows is brilliant sometimes I do feel a lack of urgency or a lack of fear for their own lives. Loving this though just want to keep watching!

These characters and their interactions are phenomenal! Incredible watch, keep them coming! 😊
It's always funny to see movies and video games showing their protagonists fighting the winds on Mars. The pressure on Mars is less than what a consumer grade vacuum sealer can achieve. So even the highest wind speeds on Mars wouldn't feel like more than a breeze.
I have never seen such realistic dialogue and animations in a game before. At 22:00 when he finds that body, the reaction feels so genuine its crazy. Not to mention the fact that you could tell the body was frozen solid from the environment.
Please I need the next episode as soon as possible, this game looks fantastic and I love your gameplay/commentary ❤

Fooster time ! My fave time of day. This is a really great game in every respect, I don't even do computer games, but this plays like a really intense movie. As you might be able to tell, I'm really enjoying this Fooster.
This is an excellent game, the story and the dialogue flows really well, the pacing is great and the atmosphere is just on point. Its got the feel of an interactive movie rather than a game. Its fantastic. Loving your work Fooster.
