There is a difference between listening and listening and trying to talk back. For women when they want someone who will listen it means put up with anything stupid they say and not question it allowing them to continue on with what ever story without you interjecting. My theory on the parallelogram guy is that he's married with kids. That's why he has experience cooking and that's why he is holding down a well paid job. It's also why he ghosts you on social media even though he'll listen to you talk about your problems in the times he sneaks to do that over the phone.

@@fabi3790 I’ve actually stopped actively using most social media because of distrust of the companies selling my information, advertisers or otherwise. I guess I am a killer now because I’m not “normal.” The guy probably just wants to keep his personal life separate from what gets shown on the internet. Bad things have happened to people doxxed online.
