DJI should have designed the new smart controller like this controller so you can swop batteries when one battery needs charging just put a fresh one in the controller....Great video Big X
Does the inspire 2 record to Solid state memory sticks & do you need a special codec to shoot movie quality media ( the movie industry standard apparently)
What kind of flight time were you getting per battery? These Inspires, especially one so well equipped with 4 lenses, is the bomb baby! It's a lot to carry around and not for the run and gun shooter but still so nice for pro level use.
Just a comment, these camera systems are on the MFT mount factor. As such, if you were using 35mm equivalent, then you missed that 16mm with a MFT lenses would be double at 32, 25 at 50, 50 at 100 and finally the 100 would end up at 200mm. Those who have them can't complain about the quality. Yes, it takes a while to set up but this is for documentary grad projects and short movies. Not your pull it out, fly it, hope for the best without weather is was safe to fly. It isn't old and still has it's uses for high end shots.
Wanting to try Waypoints with my Mavic Air 2. I tried going into Hyperlaps and then Waypoints...and I get a message that I need to be flying first. Is there a way to preset my flight plan in Waypoints before launching my drone? FYI - I'm new at this just got my Basic license a year ago...and now getting in my flying hours. Real Estate is my goal. A professional photographer since 1985 turned high school teacher. I'm retiring in 4 years and will need something to keep me occupied. Thank you

I love my Inspire 2 as well, yes it’s old tech compared to the Mavic 3 etc, but the quality coming out of that x7 camera is second to none. If you want the best possible quality from your photos or videos the I2 is still the way to go.

I wish Mavic 3 can't shoot Prores Raw 😭 Mavic 3 doesn't have interchangeable lenses 😭 Mavic 3 has a much smaller 4/3 sensor with only 12 stops of dynamic range. Mavic 3 can't ascend and descend as fast as this, nor does it have the top speed like this. Mavic 3 falls right between the Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 3
True if you don’t do high end contract often with drones this is not for you. Bought mine and it was sitting in my closet for many years since its not a drone you can use anywhere you want and pretty dangerous if it crash. Another thing i hate about this drone is very unstable at low altitudes.
You need two people operating this drone. One pilot one camera operator. The pilots view is extremely horrible. The range of this drone is its biggest downfall. My mavic mini can fly further. It’s probably time to sell.
i wish he had brought the 2nd remote and he could have flown FPV and comtrolled the camera while with Main that controlled the Inspire that would have been really intresting to see. Great video thats nice pakage he put together. 🦾

Your color graded hardly looks any different from log. Did you apply any saturation?
Still one of my most favorite flying camera platforms.
I think a lot more dynamic range could have been pulled in post. Especially from an x7 camera.

Yes it does record to an ssd. It records raw, proress, h.264/265 and D-log.

The x5s camera is mft so this applies. This is the X7 It uses Dji DL lenses and they both are super 35.
