I came in this looking for something else, but couldn't stop watching. Beautiful!. I worked in surgery before I retired. Some cases involving blood vessels were just this tedious. Takes extreme focus and patience.
I have a old Virginia privateer made from marines true scale ship models ive had it for years i got it from a nursing home i worked at come with notebooks and stuff on all the other models and it was bought in the 60s but the company i knew at least went back to the 40s but anyway im finally trying to get it together
you all probably dont care at all but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Merrick Jagger thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hello Roger, I am in tears, as my dear Daddy built these ships and now he has passed-on. I found one that wasn't protected with a cover and I read that "Baby Wipes" can remove some of the dust that is stuck on that the brush is unable to remove. Are baby wipes safe for the clear coat that is on the ship? Thank you, J
Not too much larger than this one, but of corse if you go bigger than you pay bigger. I think this model was around four hundred. The Royal Sun that I am building now on the channel is a littel bigger and cost 800 $
Not at this time , maybe in the future. It's hard to put a real cost price on somthing that took more than a year to build . Maybe make an offer $ !!!!.!!
Off and on two years. Mind you this is a hobby of mine and have built maney models over the years. Check out my TH-cam channel to see more videos. Please like and subscribe !
Jigs work great on the table but not once you put the parts on the ship. The chain and eye plates holding the bottom dead eye could be installed after both dead eyes are linked together but the ship plans had different directions. I've already mounted all the bottom dead eyes, so only got 8 to go to finish the lower lanyards. Check out my latest video #30. It does get easier the more you do it. Thanks for the comments, it inspires me to try a different way when I get to the top lanyards.
Damn! That's tedious work with those deadeyes. You're a very patient man.
That's so bad ass. I have this deep love for 17th century ships
Thanks glad you liked it. I've started a new ship the HMS Bounty check out the latest videos.
@@RogerRamjetman i sure will :)
Myself, I assemble the lanyards in a jig before installing them on the ship. Easier to manipulate when tying to lines. I learned from a master.

SupeRrrrrrr !!!!!
I tried to watch this but couldn't handle it. There's got to be some easier method using a jig.
