Okay I absolutely need to comment on this because I feel like a total douche for taking so long! I hate to use excuses for my tardiness, but ugh. You know what they are! And I'm just downright exhausted. lol so this comment isn't going to be up to par with my usual ones! lol but yeah, this video is so sweet! The song was perfect for this show! I loved the Faith/Angel scene for "I know what you're going through" that could honestly be the tagline for their friendship! lol "we gotta stick together" with Gunn joining them on the Pylea trip! LOVE that lyric match! "here's to the damned" aaww Darla!!! /cries/ I also loved the use of Connor for "lost" and Kate for "forgot"!! I loved all the group shots you used for "people like us"!! Aaaww one of my fave parts was the "everybody loses it. Everybody wants to throw it all away sometimes." I love the way you showed the four main cast members in their moments of doubt!! Aaaww and having the scene of Angel by Cordy's bedside followed by Harmony at Gunn's bedside was such a sweet parallel. I just love that Harmony/Gunn scene so much (forever shipping that, however random it seems lol) Aaaww man, now you use Lila for "the damned"? Girl, you really know how to hurt me! lol aaaww and Illyria for "the lost" /sobs/ her face in that scene...it breaks me. She'll always be one of my faves, despite her short reign on a shitty season. OMG...yeah...the Wes/Angel last look (how many vids have you made where I mention that look? A LOT lol) /curls up in fetal position/ Aaaww and I love that you got a couple Gwen shots in there! You got both my Gunn ships in there briefly! :D This video was just so great! Just like everything you make! I love it so much! AWESOME job!

They are just perfect, perfect, perfect. And I love your use of Angel/Wes last look in your videos. Sorry to bother you with this question as I know your Wes OTP is Weslah, but I was wondering: wouldn't you ever want to do some Wes/Illyria vid? They are pretty amazing as well and I can't stop thinking about the similiarities between these two pairings - in both cases Wes got women who didn't really care about anything besides their own fates feel for him... And it's funny that you mention that scene from "You're Welcome" because I was going to put that voiceover in but for some reason my download of that ep has no audio! Anyway, I did enjoy the Wes/Illyria relationship, not in a shippy way (tho I do understand the appeal), but I do think Illyria had genuine feelings for Wesley and that was really touching. It was a fascinating relationship. I'm not sure if I'll ever do a vid about it tho, because quite honestly, I am not well-versed in season 5 lol. It upsets me for a lot of reasons and I rarely rewatch it so my memory of it is not the greatest! So hmm I'm not quite sure about that one, but we'll see lol! Illyria definitely is one of the highlights of that season! Thanks again!! ^^

Fred - a "sweet", seemingly emotion-ful girl - didn't grow to care for his feelings at all during 2,5 seasons while Illyria - an all-mighty, at the begining emotionless ancient god/king - changed so much thanks to him, for him, towards him that it just made me ship them really hard. She needed like four episodes to start having some feelings deep inside ("I'm bothered because I'm bothered") and I guess she was the second person - after Lilah - who really knew Wes, at least as much as she could with her a little bit limited understanding of the world and humans' motivations. And Fred... well, Fred after one whole season was like "you don't really care anymore, do you?" meaning she didn't know him at all and didn't care. She didn't deserve this unconditional love he had for her even in the slightest. Sorry for the rant, I just can go for hours proving the superiority of Wes/Illyria over Fresley.
