Bit late for commenting, but good job. So the version of Gyaraga you fought is a nerfed version. Patch 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 Gyaraga was actually the HARDEST boss in the game. His adds spawned separated (not in the middle), and then went OFF screen, where they would target you and hit freakish hard, and when off screen you couldnt even bomb them. For Path 2, his unnerfed version would have been a good switch with Air Raider. But I'm glad I told the makers in the reddit thread they made of my boss list, and that Gyaraga needed that significant nerf. My first time on Gya had their infamous "invincibility" glitch, which allowed me to win but god it was just terrible.
Ah hearing that, that would've been a nightmare to deal with indeed, especially considering the boss is already pretty tanky to begin with. Still a pretty fun boss fight regardless. Thanks for watching!
Subject: This video contains all the bosses in Star Fox EX, a ROM hack of Star Fox for the Super Nintendo. This ROM hack has three new courses filled with new levels and all new bosses (Aside from three of them.) Aside from the usual taking minimal damage there are no restrictions for this as these bosses are honestly hard enough... Info: So, this is a thing that came out not too long ago! I only got around to playing it recently and it's actually a really neat. You can tell this was made by people who were familiar with how Starfox on the SNES worked. As for the bosses...yeah these are some really hard fights! Barrel rolling i feel is pretty essential here as a lot of the bosses not only fire alot more, but they also have homing attacks. You'll also need to be good at maneuvering around with the arwing. There is one boss fight i did not include in the video and that is the secret boss. I...honestly couldn't beat it...i tried like 50 times, but it's just way too difficult IMO. Maybe I'll include in a separate video if i manage to beat it, but i didn't feel like trying over and over again. Boss Reviews Linktron: Practically like Phantron from the original game except maybe a bit more spammy? (Can't confirm.) Just like Phantron he'll shoot the one hit kill missile if you use bombs which is scary until you realize it's motion detected and you can just sit still to avoid it resulting in the second phase being cheeseable. Probably the easiest boss in the game. Panther Caroso or... Black Rose: Definitely a tricky boss. Panther keeps you on your toes by constantly firing at you and barrel rolling to deflect your attacks. He cycles through a total of 4 different attacks which one of them you are practically forced to barrel roll. Easily the hardest stage 2 boss out of the three. Luigi Hydra: Practically Plasma Hydra...I can't really tell if there's a difference between the two. If you dealt with Hydra than you know how to deal with this boss, but it's Hydra so it's still annoying. It just has a lot of other bosses that are on it's level now. Galaxip: Probably one of the easier bosses in the game. If you played the courses in order than you'll most likely be expecting to barrel roll a lot during these bosses fights already. He doesn't really do much but shoot at you with it's guns (that can be destroyed) and shooting torpedos at you. It can also be taken down in one cycle. (I dragged on the fight a bit.) Morph Ball: This is the first boss in the game that teaches about maneuvering around a lot to avoid attacks. It can be a bit of an overwhelming fight with how little she leaves herself open to attack and how much you're expected to barrel roll and move out of the way. Your bombs can get rid projectiles, so if you fire a bomb while she's shooting at, you are pretty free to burn her down with no worries. The Crimson King: I...don't understand how you're supposed to deal with this boss...It fires at you constantly while spawning enemies that if they turn their back to you are impossible to take down and collide into you. Not to mention it spawns those 1 hit kill missiles like Phantron does...as a regular attack! Best bet seems to using your bombs to take down any adds. Rexius: Probably the coolest fight in the game, but unfortunately the easiest. He only has one attack which you just move out the way like normal to avoid. The obstacle courses in between attacks isn't too bad to navigate through either. Kind Dodora: This boss is a pain in the ass. It'll fire a barrage of fast projectiles at you which you practically have to barrel roll to avoid. (This is also your only chance to hit him.) Afterwards it'll keep shooting eggs out which you don't want to be next to them as it'll spawn out an enemy that'll quickly fly at you and do collide damage. Bombs are you friend this fight to get rid of it's projectiles. Pierrot: This boss has the recipe to be an annoying fight, but unfortunately it's hindered down by the fact that you can kill it within seconds. I even tried to drag on to fight a little to give him a chance to do something... Air Raider: This fight can be pretty difficult...It'll fire a total of 4 plasma shoots at you at a time that track you really fast which again you'll need to barrel roll in order to avoid. Afterwards it'll shoot electricity at you that homes in which you'll need to give yourself enough room to fly out the way. It also moves around alot, so you'll need to chase it down in order to get damage in on it. (I also think it deflects your attacks at some point. Gyaraga: A surprisingly easy fight for how late its placed in the game. It starts off by firing the default plasma shoots at you, than going forward off screen shooting homing plasma shoots. (If you aren't near the boss it won't even register.) Last it'll go off screen again and spawn enemies which are easy to take down. Wolf O'Donnell, Leon Powalski, Pigma Dengar, Algy | Star Wolf: A teammate where it is Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy who join for a rivals, it it just for a new team of Star Fox who is up ahead to Fay and Miyu discover know about Corneria, Macbeth, to Secret Base. If Star Wolf damaged to this teammate, find your health that you will start fight them all, in fact, Wolf, Leon, Pigma, and Algy knows about Panther who will just of Black Rose in love to Krystal. Mario & Luigi | Mario Bros.: The plumbers who is a Twin/Clone where is Wario and Waluigi does about the rivals. Mario has a short Italian plumber and unless Luigi is just a tall Italian plumber and meet at the Pipe tunnel maze what is just Wario is fat Italian plumber and not less Waluigi has skinny Italian plumber who is close up to Peach and Daisy, the final one, Mr. L and Mr. M is just appeared in Super Paper Mario who is another one Mr. W and Mr. WL to take on Fox where is helping on Falco, Peppy, and Slippy.

Yeah Fox, decided to join the custom boss rush series!
(Don't worry, Toad doesn't know how to steer that thing.)

Creative bosses for star fox snes. Plus N64 star wolf lol
Yeah I think they did a pretty good job at getting creative with the bosses.
I am very familiar with Star Fox games For snes
