My family has a 2009 still with us from day 1 and it has done 199000kms. Still its a pleasure to drive.

This car seemed sooo futuristic back in 2006. Even now it has better build quality, styling, and driving pleasure than modern compact cars like Elantra, Corolla, Civic. This will always be my favorite Honda.

I sold my honda Reborn 2009 model . after 12 years its roof liner , seats was still new very comfortable drive , road grip , in 20 to 25 lakh budget there is no any luxury car in this category

The reborn has the coolest rear looks in all civics ever made. Still looking very modern & Those twin side by side exhaust pipes were just awesome !
The introduction of the split meter brought it into a league of its own.
I cried when I saw the 9th gen first time on the road.
Always a Pro tip reborn owners should follow is to take off the air intake pipe, when its raining, just takes 1 screw and it comes right off

REBORN not just feels bossy by its name but the overall package this car offers from the headlights to the rear dual exhaust🔥. This review might not have done much justice to what this beast deserves but it might be because of the fact that any person doesn't appreciate his/her possessions as such😂. Modish and the most graceful civic ever made to date❤.

Was going to buy this beauty and had K24 Swap in my mind, end up buying X-turbo. But I still fancy reborn just because of it looks. Timeless design, looks beautiful, comfort, and with the same amount of money one can't even buy IDSI nowadays!

Some Civic generations have aged like milk. 5th and 8th gen Civics have probably aged the best, but good luck trying to find a 5th gen in reasonable shape.
Did you mod the civic X at all?
@@PAKGEAR not yet, just got the X few weeks back, 4 to be exact. Coming from an iDSI and BRV so for now the power is enough. In future I have plans of doing a dyno tune from max powers, PRL intake and maybe a bigger intercooler, but for now, I am OK with what I got.

Having FD 2006 for last many years in Dubai where I can own any car is a proof that its way ahead of its time & ahead turner. Mine being full option has sunroof, cruise control, digital climate control, steering controls & 6 airbags. Got 10.1" android screen thus giving it a cockpit type look. 400+ kms in city & 500+ kms on highways in full tank & its acceleration can put any V6 / V8 to shame 😊

Bought this car in black color 5 years ago, still using it. One thing I must say is Reborn is a timeless piece of art(if properly maintained).
Performance wise it's much good, with AC speeds above 150 km/h are a bit difficult. Have never faced any vibration even at speeds of 200 km/H.
Maintenance costs are Okie, but you can't drive it outside urban areas. Else be ready to pay hefty amounts for under body damage.
Overall it's purely highway car with massive built quality and zero practical in rural areas.
Timeless car. Please change the alloys, my eyes were bleeding 💀😭
I know. I used to spend hours trying to scrub bloodstains from the driveway, now I get in the car blindfolded.

I have the Hybrid version. Amazing car. Gives me 14 to 15 in city and around 18 on motorway. Ride, noise cancellation, sitting position are all perfect as it's JDM
Edit: The mileage was better when the batteries were new but now they have depreciated quite a bit.

@@hasnainahmed892 Maintenance work in JDM Honda is not very frequent but when it comes you should have a cheque book ready. Parts are readily available but expensive. So if that is your concern then definitely go for Toyota as its a solid car with cheap parts. But if you want luxury, features and ride quality and maintenance cost is not an issue then get the Honda. I have never owned a Toyota so I cannot say about performance compared to Honda.

Reborn is an amazingly reliable car until or unless its suspenstion and steering rack worn out..i drove reborn for about 4 years ...yes this civic has an essence of fun to drive car which is now absent in latest civics...at the end of the day reborn is reborn still miss her drive !!although she is gas guzzler but it is what it is!

11:32 civic reborn two big problem is 5:51 gear and engine mount broken and power steering oil leakage .most of people not have to maintainace and petrol
..
The too low position air intake flaw is also in 9th,10th and 11th civic as well..mr sunil munj has pointed this flaw in a review but we have hardly seen any such civic stuck in rain waters

Such a great true review, No doubt all the issues are true but this car has a amazing charm. I bought it 12 years ago and still cannot sell this 😂. Horrible average and hard suspension and now its cost like a Bahri Jahaz to manage not like a car to manage but still really hard to let it go. 😊

nice review, great elaboration indeed.
I have a Reborn Driving it for last 7 years and everyday i fall in love with it, and i have a full specs manual, and u need to drive manual to know what this engine can do. Only two draw backs of this car, leaking power steering and definitely engine mounts, which i had to get from Honda and since then 4 years no issues on mounts.
only real disappointment in Reborn is rear leg room, even I (not as tall as u) cant fit in
I’ve had this reborn since new, but manual is the one to own. Honda engines are bullet proof and with soaring new car prices, reborn is probably the best value.
