This trophy has no fucking right to be in this game! I started going for it at around 11:30pm... It's now 6:15am. I just unlocked the trophy, now I gotta get ready for a 13.5 hour shift. The perils of being a gamer.
The thing about this trophy is that you don’t need just skills, but steel nerves to repeat all over and over and over again and don’t get tired or frustrated. It could take more than 50 tries for a decent or good player.
The good news is that you can practice stages that are most difficult for you. I played this stage for 6hours. The feeling when I got the trophy was great :) Good luck everybody. Be patient ;)

Took me 73 tries/ 3 days to finally make it. Thanks to this video I knew I didn't have to rush too hard. I tried to be as fast as possible until the spike section of the trial bc up until that part I was relatively confident of making it fast and unscathed. At that point I became slower and more careful yet not too slow. I did get hit by one of the last spikey fishes bc I was careless and my concentration started to fade away. Thats prbly the biggest challenge: keeping your focus up. Got extra careful with the laser and fire sections and then... I made it! 7:26 on the clock after I took my time to get as many clocks in the last section. I gained about 70 or 80 seconds thanks to this. To everyone who didn't manage to make it reading this: YOU CAN DO IT! Just don't give up. Allow yourself some breaks after some failed attempts. You might wanna keep going bc you prbly think "one more run! this could be the one!" but don't push yourself. You'll lose your patience, get too cocky with some sections and frustration slowly hits. Take a break after 5 or 6 attempts or after an hour of trying - whatever suits you best. But don't force yourself. Like I said: Took me 73 tries split up on nearly 3 days.
Make no mistake. This challenge is not the game challenging you; but you challenging yourself. Must have tried more than 150 times and was already to the point of giving up, with a 2 day break since I had picked the game up last. Went for another try, got it. This is brutal. At least for me it was one of the most challenging trophies I had to bear with and was having a hard time accepting the fact that a game had bested me. Especially a kid themed game. Tips: There is plenty of time. The concept is not to get a Gold, but to reach the end alive. Practice individually the sections you struggle with the most, so when you face them in Trial 16, they’re mastered. This level is all about repetition and muscle memory to an extreme threshold (at least for me it is/was). You must embrace every 10-20s of additional time “survived” as a victory. Soon you will see that the first 8-10 levels are already mastered and only prone to failure if you don’t pay attention. A pinch of luck will be needed, granted. Master the Bubble Fishes, Spikes, Laser Beams and Fire sections individually. Not because they’re super hard, but because you will be needing that muscle memory when you eventually get that deep into the Trial. The game relies on your “nerves” to make you fail. Because you will be super aware of how long you’ve been lasting in a given attempt. … Also, because the level is so long you will have practiced the early levels many more times than the later ones, causing a natural imbalance. Take breaks if needed. Listen to your brain and if you must log off, do so. Last but not least, something I don’t see mentioned in the comments often (quite the opposite): the obstacles/animations of the scenario will always trigger in the SAME way when you reach them, regardless of the clock or the “moment” you get there. This can be used to your advantage. If you master the “script” of a given section, you will never again fail it. The Trial is scripted in its entirety. It’s the only tangible advantage you have over it. I wish you the best of luck. It will be one of your most cherished Platinums.
I've left this trophy unattempted for over a year. Randomly looked at it again as someone beat a time on a challenge so got a notification. Reading this comment has inspired me to give it another go.
@@Ageleszly yeah but the gauntlet is simply not fair, that's my issue, I love gauntlets when they are done well like boss rushes or the level style I call "one last time" where the majority of traps you've seen in the game return one last time as the final level unvails, but this is just poor execution
@@TheOmegaGamer Can you further explain in what way this challenge is unfair? I mean you've seen all the passages already and can you practice each one any time, it's long and punishing yes, but this shouldn't be an indicator for unfairness. The time itself is even pretty benevolent.
MAN, I JUST GOT IT! Was trying for a whole week, seemed impossible, almost gave up. But ended up 7:50min, so it's doable! You will die a lot and start to memorize all the path and you can easily rest on the hard ones because that's plenty of time in the end. DON'T GIVE UP!
Just completed the Ultimate Challenge along with Platinum after many hours of death and frustration. Something to keep in mind: for the trials you struggle with, it’s okay to run through most of them slower because of how much time you can make up in the last section (I went into the final trial with a time of 9:50 but finished with 9:09 because of all the bonuses). Good shit man, I just did this level today & got the Platinum trophy, easily the hardest trophy in the game, It pretty much took me all afternoon just to do it & wanted give up multiple times myself lol
I thank you for your video it helped me get through this nightmare of a level. I needed to do it twice for my sister and me. I need to say that you need a lot of practice and patients for this challenge.

I went in a multiplayer march before with 4 people I was the only one who got to the part where the rockets start coming out Jesus Christ I didn’t realise how much more there was after that there’s no chance I’m doing this
In this video I do a lot of jump -> flutter -> slap -> dive (X X square circle), but I think jump -> flutter -> dive -> spin is slightly better (X X circle square)

The most difficult part were those spike monsters before laser area, I always got hit at least one time there but after that it was easy and finished it first try :)
An advise for whoever is trying this, just take your time, you have plenty of time to do it on a normal pace as long as you keep getting some time charms along the way and you should be fine
I got it on my 37th attempt and the hardest part for me was not knowing how thight the timer for gold was. So i rushed as fast as possible on every attempt making a lot of mistakes. When i finally finished i had a time of around 8 min on the clock. So after all if you take it slowly on the harder parts you should still have more than enough time to get gold
If you die, you have to restart the trial from the beginning. How fast you go, and how many clocks you collect is what determines if you get gold or not.
It took me 2 hours to do this. Considering I’m approaching middle age and don’t have the muscle twitch reflexes that you youngsters do... if I can do it, you definitely can.

I actually did that unintentionally on one of the other trials. I was beyond confused but happy at the same time. I still went back and redid it tho cause it felt like a cheat obv, but my best time will always be: 00.00.00 :,]

Getting gold on 1-14 should unlock it (and you unlock trial 14 in the first post-game bonus level)
