Embarking on an unforgettable journey of cultural immersion and discovery, HIGHFIELD SECONDARY SCHOOL (SMP - SMA) Cirebon Grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 students set foot on the land of the rising sun, Japan. Our field trip to Japan was a kaleidoscope of experiences, weaving together the tapestry of tradition, innovation, and cultural immersion.
1️⃣ Our journey kicked off with a fascinating exploration of industrial prowess, delving into the heart of innovation at the Yamato factory and navigating the labyrinthine marvels of the G-Canals, where engineering ingenuity meets environmental stewardship.
2️⃣ Venturing into the academic realm, we wandered through the hallowed halls of knowledge at Tokyo and Keiko University, where the echoes of scholarly pursuits reverberate through time, shaping the minds of tomorrow.
3️⃣ But it wasn't just academia that captured our hearts; it was the palpable essence of history that enveloped us as we stood in awe before the iconic Sensoji, the tranquil oasis amidst the urban sprawl, and the majestic Osaka Castle, a sentinel of Japan's rich heritage.
4️⃣ And what better way to steep ourselves in Japanese culture than with the graceful ritual of the tea ceremony in Gojo, Kyoto, where every gesture is a symphony of harmony and respect for tradition.
5️⃣ Amidst the bustling streets and neon-lit avenues, we lost ourselves in the rhythmic pulse of life, meandering through the vibrant districts of Shibuya, Namba, Umeda, and Dotonburi, where every corner unfolded a new chapter in the saga of Japanese urbanity.
