I have an 05 same blue but mine is a 6 speed and just at 65,000 miles. I love how someone changed the interior lights to blue. I dislike the green lights
Beautiful ride! I love my 05 TR 6 sp manual. You might wanna make a correction to your description, the hood intakes are non functional... other than that, good nice video!
Thanks for the info! but they are functional. You can pull out the inserts and it will supply fresh air the the engine bay. This will also keep the supercharger cool.
It's a great car. Only wish it was a manual transmission with better headliner. I had an 05 auto it was decent. Have a W40 Edition Pulse Red GTO with the 6 speed and that's absolutely fun to drive.
@@harrishustle I've owned both and my M6 is way better. Especially with the factory 3.46 rear gears and a 2.97 1st. Way deadlier than a GTO auto. It pulls crazy hard right out of the hole. Remember gearing has a lot to do with everything. If that GTO factory had 373 gears and a bigger stall converter from factory it would for sure pull better. I've driven stalled and geared autos and beat Manuals all day long. Just factory is trash. I had a WS6 auto and a 6 speed WS6 the auto was crap with 3.23 gears vs the manual. Until I upgraded the gears and did a converter then it became an animal
@@StickShiftMuscle good shit but still a human is not going to out or shift faster than the ECU but it's all about preference don't matter to me... If you have a 6 speed in a rice rocket 4 banger not going make no difference over a V8 lol.
I have somewhat less delectable Midnight (navy) Blue '05 w/a 6-speed manual, 17" wheels, Pedders remote canister coilovers, Prothane bushings, PowerStop Z26 Street Warrior brakes, Kenwood eXcelon Reference DNX997XR (replacing the OEM Blaupunkt) media player, 2.5" thick all aluminum ('racing') radiator with a shade over 59k miles. [Original owner.] I like the Magnus supercharger, '06 rear lights, gloss black accents, upgraded rearview mirror, and dashtop center gauges, but I have a redundant Garmin DriveSmart 65 GPS up there so I can dedicate the Kenwood to media and never have to look down to see the map. I'll soon upgrade to: DriveShaftShop 1000hp Chromoly 2-piece driveshaft, WaveTrac (limited slip) differential, and DriveShaftShop 1000hp (maybe their massive overkill 1400hp) axles before pushing engine, trans/clutch further. I like the efficiency of turbos but not too wild about the heat (esp. in Las Vegas), so superchargers have more appeal, possibly a 48V electric for no-lag low-RPM boost, where I'd rather have extra kick than wound way out. The boost methodology drives choices on intake manifold & headers... still thinking. I think the BMW M3CX twin-turbo I6 is tough to beat - only a whisker behind a 2025 Stingray 0-60 plus four-seats, four-doors, AWD, and a roomy trunk - if I could drop $90k cash (and $250/mo insurance) w/o a second thought, that'd be where I'd drop it.
Nice car and really wanted it till he said OD. Nice hearing that this car wasn’t a stick I lost all interest. However it’s still a really nice looking car!

@@collectiblemotorcar Nice to know. I will do that with mines!
I got 2006 red very clean 64000 miles I loved I traded for this
even with the rubber inserts in you're getting some air, obviously more without them.
@@StelioKontos42069 Still is not true ram-air setup, so the original post here was correct. "Functional hoodscoops" is what those are.
best car of the year
Thank you
I've got, it's like you're showing me my own car. I have a note 6. It's the same color and pretty much stock.
The GTO's are amazing cars. Its a shame they only made them for 3 yrs.
Nice!!
I like these cars

They are designed to actually pull heat out as air passes over the scoops
Even though it's more fun to drive an M6 the autos pull way harder...

THE REAR VIEW MIRROR has been changed also upgraded the oem is just plain.

What's a butt dyno? And how did it tell you that the supercharged LS2 makes 500hp?
Butt dyno means what car feels like it has for HP. This GTO has a supercharger sooo it is more than the stock 400HP. Thank you for the comment.
