- This is the animation I've been working on for the past 2 weeks. I LOVE how it turned out, and hopefully you do too!

The "main focus" of the ChickenWingJohnny channel is to help myself learn how to do video editing techniques, while doing stuff that I like. Essentially: TH-cam Poops. That means I probably won't upload consistently or very often, but I will try to put my best effort into every video I make.
As of right now, Id like to focus on quality, not capital gains. I will get better, and I will have better equipment do do this, but It'll take time.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the memes.

They were mocapped off of the original Japanese version, if you played Sonic Adventure 2 in Japanese then all of the lip syncing would look normal.
lip syncing was for Japanese
The creators of this had to recreate the cutscene, so they were able to line up the mouth movements to the English voice lines.
Dude you even got the SOAP shoes, this is awesome. Even the audio sounds DSy.

I’ll Be Damned, This Is The Best DS Style Cutscene!
You somehow lowered and raised the quality of this cutscene at the same time. I chuckled at how funny the compressed audio was but then I started to notice some thematic differences to the original that actually improve the scene. Now I want to see this cutscene but of the quality of a next gen title :o
having shadow as a selectable character in sonic rush wouldve been my absolute dream as a kid

I wish someone made a fangame of SA2 which is a DS version.
Because it looks so good!
I know people like to compare the Nintendo DS to the original Playstation, but honestly, I think it's a lot more similar to the Namco System 22 arcade hardware, which was made to run games like Ridge Racer and Time Crisis. Unlike Sega's Model 2 hardware, the System 22 didn't use bilinear texture filtering, so game textures looked a lot more pixelated. However, the games did run at 60 frames per second. And from personal observation, the Nintendo DS checks all of those boxes. Sure, not all 3D Nintendo DS games ran at 60 fps, but a good chunk of them did.
I think the DS is more like the N64 in power, (same amount of RAM) but yeah I can see where you’re coming from in terms of how 3D games look on the system.
I wish SEGA wouldn't had fired Ryan and company :(
Looks great! I like how you removed the interruptions (if you know what I mean since characters seems to interrupt each other a lot).

I know it’s supposed to be a DS aesthetic and it’s executed INCREDIBLY well, but it also kinda winds up reminds me of Mega Man Legends a little bit too, especially with the mouth textures. Great job.

I saw this on Twitter and loved it. I'm just imagining this existing in some alternate timeline where Sega remade some of their games including 3D ones on DS.

This just showed up in my recommanded and the add i got was the trailer for the second movie, fits much better then most other adds i tend to get.
It's so much better now that you can actually hear what they are saying this time! Seriously, the sound mixing was so bad in SA2, and made even worse with the ports. Characters would cut each other off all the time.
Not only is this a great interpretation of a DS version of the cutscene...but the lip-sync and sentence mixing and extra animations and camera changes make it better than the original. It's amazing how a little more effort can make this scene feel so much more natural.

If sonic adventure 2 had a NDS port it would probably play like sonic advance 2 or 3. Reason i didn't say sonic rush is because Adventure 2 doesn't have a boost, therefore it would play similar to the advance games.
